Zombies!!
This deck is almost completely built with Shadows Over Innistrad cards. It revolves around Relentless Dead, Diregraf Colossus, and Prized Amalgam.
Relentless Dead needs no explanation.
Diregraf Colossus not only gets better when cast with each zombie card in the graveyard but let's the board state fill up with zombies with each creature cast.
Prized Amalgam is a great card to keep coming back from the graveyard. It can be returned to the battlefield by multiple cards including Relentless Dead, Stitchwing Skaab,
Ever After
, and
Geralf's Masterpiece
.
The bigger the graveyard the better. Some cards to help the graveyard fill up are Epiphany at the Drownyard which can help refill the hand if needed,
Liliana's Indignation
which can also provide a sum of indirect damage if lucky,
Sinister Concoction
which lets us drop a card on turn one to help fill the curve as well as allows us to throw that Prized Amalgam, Stitchwing Skaab or
Geralf's Masterpiece
into the graveyard. Last is
Crow of Dark Tidings
who helps put the library into the graveyard and can allow evasion or chump block fliers.
In rare occasions
Ever After
can prevent us from decking ourselves if we are able to hold onto it and play it every turn. Games usually never make it that far.
Zombies love graveyards and hate to be exiled, this is why Negate is important. We have to stop that pesky
Declaration in Stone
and Anguished Unmaking. Relentless Dead needs to be relentless, can't be doing that from exile. Not too worried about normal removal like Languish, Grasp of Darkness, and
Ultimate Price
as killing the zombies can actually be beneficial.
Invasive Surgery
is in the sideboard specifically for
Declaration in Stone
and being at delerium and removing all copies will give us a piece of the mind (Ha Ha..... Ha...).
1 of Westvale Abbey
allows an out.
All suggestions welcome!
