Because we counter or remove the spells we do play, the plan is to apply eventually cast Cruel Ultimatum and hopefully recast it with Snapcaster Mage . If that doesn't happen (which it won't always), we can beat down with either Snapcaster Mage or Vendilion Clique . We probably won't be trying to just Lightning Bolt our opponent out of the game, because like other control decks we should be able to wear them down and finish them with the Ultimatum or tiny creature beats.

Looks like a pretty cool deck, apart from the fact that you're running an Overgrown Tomb in it.

It was actually just a bad tech Idea I had to board some ancient grudge and make our engineered explosives go to 4 but it seems bad haha

I like Nicol bolas but I think it would be hard to cast Cruel Ultimatum plus Nickky B

Yeah, Creeping Tar Pit defiantly got worse since delver has gotten better, but at the same time we need the access to man lands to finish off the game once we have dealt with their threats. Do you think Temple of Deceit or Temple of Epiphany might be better for the scry?

I'd play a Batterskull as a finisher. it's much harder to deal with than any of your other finishers. also, you kinda have to bring the tar pit count up. especially with bolts, you might have to count on drawing more than in a single game. (I've equipped a battlerskull on a tar pit before. it is awesome)

What's the win condition here? From what I see, if you get all 4 Lightning Bolt s off, your Electrolyze , and say a Cruel Ultimatum , and you do all the damage to your opponent, that'll still be 19 (12 from bolts, 2 from electrolyze and 5 from ultimatum). You can counter the crap out of your opponent's deck, but what actually makes them lose?
