Cephalid Constable is a fairly obscure card that nonetheless invites the concept of U/G control. In times of strife, Blighted Agent takes the stage, functioning off of the same cards that let the Constables shine. In terms of cards that support the decks function, Blossoming Defense and Apostle's Blessing keep things alive, Vapor Snag and Aqueous Form gets your Constables in range, and Predator's Strike and Rancor make attacks that much more punishing. Cards like Asceticism and Thassa, God of the Sea provide the same mechanics late-game more consistently.
