Best of One Bant Turbo Fog
Staying alive
The main plan is to get as many lands on the field and keep yourself alive using Supreme Verdict, Haze of Pollen, Root Snare, and even The One Ring
The star planeswalker in the deck is Teferi, Hero of Dominaria, he's great at drawing our cards and making sure at least 2 mana is open to cast our fog spells; we use Haze of Pollen and Root Snare specifically since it will prevent our planeswalkers from taking damage. That being said, The One Ring will not prevent our planeswalkers from taking damage.
Gameplay
Growth Spiral, and Joint Exploration serve both as card draw and mana ramp in this deck.
Narset, Parter of Veils is used to help get our fog spells and wincons while shutting our opponent out of card draw.
Teferi, Hero of Dominaria is perfect for the fog abilites but also is fairly easy to get to 8 loyalty if the opponent doesn't have proper removal. This can become a wincon on it's own once the emblem is out.
The One Ring is great as an early game fog spell, though I usually try not to get more than two counters on it. With two copies it can also be nice to tick one up for free cards then replace it with another one in hand, for a fog effect and more cards. The One Ring can also be great at closing out the game by helping us draw our wincon Approach of the Second Sun.
Winning
Granted your opponent doesn't concede out of frustration, there are 3 main wincons in this deck.
- Getting Teferi, Hero of Dominaria to 8 loyalty counters and getting his emblem can quickly shut your opponent out of the game.
- Approach of the Second Sun is the final and most common way to win the game. Using our card draw, or having a second copy in hand can quickly catch your opponent off guard and win the game.
- Castle Ardenvale is a secondary wincon. After matching in a game where I had teferi's emblem I realized if they get rid of both Approach of the Second Sun we are out of ways to actually close out the game and eventually will just self mill.
