Hm, I realize that this would probably be too inconsistent to work well, but my recommendation is Bitter Ordeal .

Sure, things are being destroyed all the time, and this gives you a pretty good chance of pulling off another Sadistic Sacrament , but when you are comboing with your commander to do some recursion, that gravestorm could potentially be up pretty high, and Bitter Ordeal could be another finisher.

As for artifact recursion -- especially with the commander's recursion abilities, I would sincerely suggest Myr Retriever as a viable option

It probably wouldn't cost you anything to run Dark Depths Since you already have Vampire Hexmage

You're running Cabal Coffers , but not Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth ?

Also, Boseiju, Who Shelters All seems like a pretty decent card. Since your main win condition is infinite mana into Exsanguinate .

Alright, this is the last one, I promise -

Where's your Mana Crypt ? You obviously don't mind spending money, the promo is only like $90.

Love the deck, looks like a pain to play against.

out of curiosity, have you considered any of the following:

I would recommend looking into Ad Nauseam

Have you considered Lake of the Dead ? You run Crucible of Worlds so you can recur the swamps you sac, and it seems probable you'll be sending all of the lands to the graveyard anyways. It does set you back a bit, but with your mana rocks it doesn't seem like it will matter.

illumfolly: Bitter Ordeal could be a nice addition, however my meta currently isn't too big on combo decks as it was before. So the single Sadistic Sacrament has been enough for now. I like Myr Retriever , What I don't like is that it has to die to get the effect. The current Arcbound Reclaimer and Trading Post have done a fair job. As for Dark Depths , I feel that it would be better in a 1v1 environment. Path to Exile and Swords to Plowshares are pretty common in my meta. So in big multiplayer games, It usually becomes a "Waste". But those are great suggestions, and as my meta changes I'll be sure to keep them in mind. Thank you for your comment!

BuLLZ3Y3: The reason for not running Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth was simply for selfish reasons. Gauntlet of Power would turn my opponents lands into a mini Sol Ring . But, I've been making changes lately and I'm finally adding in Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth and cutting Gauntlet of Power . Also Boseiju, Who Shelters All , I found it isn't very important in my meta at the shop...However, I found that online play it's pretty essential. I've tested Mana Crypt as a proxy and I take way too much damage from it..I rather pop for a Mishra's Workshop . But honestly doesn't need it. Thanks for the recommendations!

enpc: Volrath's Stronghold is a great card, But doesn't fit this current build. Cranial Plating is another neat card, But again doesn't fit this current build. The deck doesn't rely on commander damage at all. He's simply there for the graveyard recursion. Darkest Hour , Definitely has some nice synergies. I'll probably be testing this one out to see how it does. Thank you for the comment, Great ideas for other builds as well!

BlatantLizard: I might find a place for Mutilate , Seems like it has more uses for online play than my current meta. Increasing Ambition is definitely a thought, The flashback is the selling point for me. It would allow for me to grab 3 cards total. So I'll be doing some testing with that. Thanks for the great suggestion!

UpperDeckerTaco: Ad Nauseam is a great card. But I'd take way too much damage with the current build! Thank you for your comment!

Ruffigan: Lake of the Dead is neat, I use to run it in my Skittles deck. But honestly it's a better fit for 1v1. It has too big of a potential for putting me behind in multiplayer. Thank you for your suggestion!

My Xiahou Dun combo build

I'm not currently running Basalt Monolith , and Soul Conduit is too mana intensive, but some similar thoughts.

I love the deck! But have you found it ever being too fragile? Since you are mostly relying on combos to win it just seems like it could be a little fragile.

capwnski: I have removal for most of the particularly problematic cards for me. I also can combo off fast enough that it ends up not being an issue. I think that this deck has some similar plans to me in terms of shutting down problems, too.

How does this deck fair against blue control? As well as 5 player games? I myself use a Xiahou EDH but it is more voltron based.

Quicksilver: Thank you for the up-vote, glad you like it!

Spencerbot15: Blood Moon doesn't effect Snow-Covered lands, They are still basic lands.

illumfolly: I really like that, Jace, the Mind Sculptor -12. Could also run Staff of Domination...Only thing is it seems like a Win More combo. But will keep in mind. Thanks for the neat interaction!

Asher18: Vampire Hexmage is there to deal with Planeswalkers. Although it combos nicely with Dark Depths, This deck isn't aiming for combat damage. Especially in multi-player games.

MisterTweetums: This deck is filled with Alot of "good stuff". So blue has a hard time keeping up with what the deck puts out. And since we use our general to recur our enchants and boardwipes, They typically won't use counter magic on our black spells. Also...It's amazing in big multiplayer games! I've won 5 and 6 player games with ease. If you have the money, or if you're allowed the poxies...I'd highly recommend playing this in a competitive setting. With that said, Only problems I've had is someone getting their combo off before mine. But we have answers to recur with our general: Sadistic Sacrament.

Thanks for the comments!

What's a truly competitive deck without the ability to excessively win the game? :)

Love this deck to bits.
