Grandmaster Flash (Standard MTG Deck)

This is my spin on a burn deck based around Soulfire Grand Master, using Black in place of Blue altogether. I originally constructed this primarily with Red and White cards in mind. I then saw that Adams880's Jeskai Burn splashes black with Crackling Doom, which they credit to TheHroth. I then figured that since I'd be gaining life, I may as well substitute the blue card draw some people use in Jeskai with a more life-sacrifice-black or cheaper-but-riskier approach via Pain Seer and Sign in Blood. Chandra, Pyromaster also helps round things out.

In the main, this is a fast and straightforward burn deck, with the added twist of gaining life for all of your burns, and via Monastery Mentor generating creature tokens with them that are further buffed by your burn spells, and a little card draw to help along the way. Monastery Swiftspear is there as an aggro creature that synergizes with the rest of the deck.

Edit 1: I had Banishing Light in the mainboard for some control to take care of pesky non-creature threats, but I couldn't justify keeping it there because of the emphasis on instants and sorceries that key cards rely on. It's kind of a leftover from the deck's original Jeskai inspiration. So I sideboarded it, because it's still a useful option, and replaced it with Searing Blood for some more lifelink burn. With Soulfire Grand Master out it yields a Lava Spike and 5 life for 2 mana if you kill a creature with it or on the same turn, which is not a bad deal at all. The idea here is to be quick and to the point, and this really is not a control deck.

Edit 2: I had to take out 2 Pain Seer and add 2 more Sign in Blood. While Pain Seer combos well with Stoke the Flames as its trigger, unfortunately it was ending up being a dead card too often in playtesting, and Sign in Blood is more immediate while comboing with the support cards like Monastery Mentor and Monastery Swiftspear.
