In seasons of pestilence, some of us will have a secret attraction to the disease--a terrible passing inclination to die of it.

This is a combo deck centred around Pestilence, which does 1 point of damage per activation (not points of damage per spent).

We use either Urza's Armor or Sphere of Grace to stop Pestilence hurting us, plus a Creature that has Protection from Black or is Indestructible to stop Pestilence sacrificing itself.

Apart from that:

Tutors find the combo pieces, Argivian Find brings them back if someone destroys them,

Exsanguinate is a finisher or life-gain to stop us dying to fast opponents,

Dark Ritual ramps or pumps the Exsanguinate ,

Swords to Plowshares and Disenchant helps fend off any threats to the combo and can also bee Tutor'd.

If someone does something like Surgical Extraction on Pestilence, this deck folds completely. We could add Surgical Extraction to this deck specifically to remove it from opponents decks.
