This deck aims to get and keep control of the game in order to launch one of the many combos in there. Combo is started with Basalt Monolith . Zirda's passive reduce the ability of Untap to (1), so it creates infinite colorless mana.

To setup these, a balance between protections, recursivity, tutors, draw, control and prison was needed. Following this list :

Rest of the deck is based around blasting the opponent with X spells, or create a wincon with infinite colorless (or colorfull if we find Prismite ) mana such as Banefire , Mirror Entity or even Retrofitter Foundry

It has several gameplans. You can either play the midrange/control way and not even trying to search for your Monolithe (even though it is more powerfull if you go for it) because several cards are strong by themselves and you can find big direct answers with Sunforger . Or go with traditionnal Combos way
