also with Griselbrand out you can easily dig for another to great effect (draw 7 in a dredge deck is lethal)

How does Balustrade Spy work in this deck? Since you don't have any lands in your deck how does this function?

allthingsMTG I'll elaborate the combo, you sacrifice 3 creatures to pay for Dread Return targeting Balustrade Spy whose effect you target yourself with then you Dread Return Flayer of the Hatebound and finally Dread Return Golgari Grave-Troll

tyforthevenom OK, sorry if this is annoying but now can you explain how that would win the game? I'm thinking about making mana-less dredge as my first legacy deck and I am trying to familiarize my self with some if the interactions of the deck

Flayer of the Hatebound makes any creature you bring in from the graveyard (including itself) do damage equal to its power to target player, Golgari Grave-Troll enters with 30+ power

that's where the decision making comes in, you need to decide whether it's worth attacking or not and whether it's worth block or not.... and most of all if worst comes to worse Dread Return a flying creature and go over their heads, regardless my combo doesn't require purely zombie tokens, that's just plan a, plan b is deck myself and bring back flayer followed by grave troll and make an unblockable 30+ damage
