I got better!

Part of a series I am doing where I use only common and uncommon cards while building a deck. A nice design challenge, keeps the budget low, and great decks to learn the game with.

Tired of commanders coming back for revenge after you've defeated them in combat or taken them out with a spell? Especially because some commanders get even stronger when they return from the command zone. Instead of killing them, how about turning them into harmless creatures instead? This led me on a search to find Kenrith's Transformation, Kasmina's Transformation, Lignify, Ichthyomorphosis, and others.

At this point the deck was filling up with auras, and I needed to find a commander to fit in blue/green and still be uncommon. Here enters Eutropia the Twice-Favored. The deck is filled with low-cost enchantments aimed at triggering Eutropia's ability as often as possible. By giving Eutropia or other creatures flying, the plan is to fly over enemy defenses and reduce their life to 0. This will also be aided by neutralizing enemy fliers with auras.

For mana ramp, I included some of my favorite auras like Wild Growth, Dawn's Reflection, and others. These cards usually find their way into my green decks already, and they have the additional bonus of triggering Eutropia's ability.

For card draw, some of these auras cantrip themselves, like Shielding Plax or Setessan Training. However, most of the card draw will come from combat triggered auras like Keen Sense, Curiosity, and Snake Umbra. Speaking of umbras, I put a bunch in here to work as low-cost auras, and to give Eutropia some more survivability.

The creatures in this deck are relatively few, but most of them are designed to work with Eutropia with Constellation, Heroic, or making use of +1/+1 counters.

This deck is weak to disenchantment or proper flying defenses. But it should be a flexible deck that makes use of neutralizing enemy creatures by tapping them or turning them into frogs.
