Mayael was my first commander, and she began as a good stuff pile (thus the duals which have stayed in as a memento of that). Since then I have shifted her toward beast tribal permanents. The only non-permanent in the deck is Primal Surge, and thanks to cards like Warstorm Surge, AEther Charge , and Where Ancients Tread this will probably kill a person or two. If insufficient, there are haste enablers and ways to pump creatures with trample to get the killing blow. This is my opening deck with new playgroups, so it should be strong enough that it can survive in the average play group, but well within the ability of someone just picking up a precon to play against. This should not be a hyper competitive deck, but should instead be resilient. It should also be rather simple to understand so I can lend it to friends considering picking up the game.

It's relatively slow for aggro, but is very resilient to being wiped. Suggestions on how to make it more newbie friendly (from both sides of the table) are welcome.
