Maybeboard

My early attempt to dip my toe into Modern. I have a Mono-green stompy deck that I have been running on MTGO but it is not very good. Every now and then it can sneak up on people but I have been wanting to try a potentially more competitive build for a while now. I mostly play standard so I don't have many of the "Modern Staples", but have a pretty good cache of Standard cards. As such, this deck could definitely be upgraded, but getting all of the fetch lands will take some time due to their cost.

As for this deck, I opted for a Token build. I have been building Token decks in Standard for a while and love to go wide and beat down. I somewhat drew inspiration from Matt Nass' list that made the top 16 of a GP, but this is mainly my own list. One major difference is the addition of Champion of Lambholt. This is one of my favorite cards and can be very powerful if it is kept on the battlefield. The goal is to put it out on turn 2 and then spam out Tokens to buff her up and make all of my creatures unblockable. Alternatively I can pump my team with Gavony Township or Nissa, Voice of Zendikar.

This deck has been really fun to play in initial testing. Please let me know what you think and feel free to offer suggestions. Thanks and Happy Brewing!
