@ shedidthistome Whoa man slow down a sec. I only keyed you in because you agreed with Taxihappy where he mentioned the turn thing. I'm not accusing anything. Anyways if you can get Emrakul, the Aeons Torn down turn 3 or 4 with Lightning Greaves then there won't be anything the opponent can do. Get it any later then I think Blightsteel Colossus will seal the deal faster.

@We_Are_Legion, again, I did not agree about any "turn thing". I had agreed with him that Emrakul, the Aeons Torn would be a great alternative to Blightsteel Colossus. You must have interpreted that differently.

Actually after play testing, I can completely confirm that Blightsteel Colossus in this deck is superior to Emrakul, the Aeons Torn.
This deck is soooo awesome.

I always love Blightsteel Colossus decks!
I know u already have Lightning Greaves for haste but maybe 1x Hall of the Bandit Lord could be fit in as an additional means.

what are all the other elves for? They have no use in this deck, its not elf tribal, and youre not trying to hard-cast the colossus... Aren't they just more $$$ to spend on this deck?

The only problem with this deck is it can be shut down by creatures like Linvala, Keeper of Silence

But what if they play Path to Exile in response to you equipping Lightning Greaves, what do you do then?

What if you replaced Elvish Promenade with Triumph of the Hordes?

Can you look at my parody of this deck for a second? It consistently does better... Seriously! It's here: http://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/turn-1-1111-indestructable-trample-infect-haste/ (Look up turn 1 11/11 Indestructible Trample Infect Haste)

How about -2 Immaculate Magistrate and +2 Gilder Bairn?
Also, you should definitely have several Guttural Response in the sideboard when playing against control.

Maybe you want to use Quicksilver Amulet too and so you have more options to cast the colossus.

Also, instead of Imp's Mischief, you probably want a playset of Spellskite in the sideboard.

I probably wouldnt run 4 Cavern of Souls, as it is legendary so drawing one after you already have one or starting with 2-3 in your opening hand would be useless, so i would drop the count down to 2 or 3

no it isn't. It's just colorless. Where does it say legendary? I think you mean Nyxthos.

LOL. But, seriously, Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx and Cavern of Souls are a bit easy to get mixed up.

O...m...g...$513 THAT IS CRAZY EXPENSIVE, nice deck though, would play if i had the money

What about adding you 4 Woodland Cemetery to main deck then cutting 4 forests. Then adding one Griselbrand to cycle with the deck if you change to a all elf attack. You can search and cheat it in to play as you would with a Blightsteel Colossus.

Pity Black Lotus isn't in Modern, eh?
