Rule and Mechanic Changes:

Teammates - After drafting, if two players drafted partner cards, they can choose to be teammates. Any card that mentions a teammate refers to a player in another game. Teammates are in separate games, and there can be no more than 2 players on each team. The partner with mechanic can target teammates in other games. Spells and abilities you control interact with teammates' games.

Outside the game cards - Any cards that mention a card outside the same refer to any card you own outside the game.

Mulligans - Players get one free mulligan.

Trading - In between rounds during the draft, before matches, and between matches, players may trade cards with other cards within the draft and other items outside the draft.

Variants - Only 2 variants of each non-common that has multiple variants included per draft. Only one of each common variant is included, except for Secret Base, which all 5 are included. If a player drafts a common variant, the player gains access to all other copies.

Unstable Emblems - Like emblems, these cards cannot be interacted with. Before your game starts, each player can reveal any number of Unstable Emblems and play them. Here are a list of Unstable Emblems that are in the cube:


Gamemaster - Whenever you flip a coin, you may roll a dice instead. A roll of 1-3 counts as heads, and 4-6 counts as tails. : Your opponent then you each choose heads or tails. Flip a coin. If you and your opponent win the flip, add one mana of any color to your mana pool. If you win and your opponent loses, add two mana of any color to you mana pool. If you and your opponent both lose, add to your mana pool.

Sneaky Sneak - If your life total is above 0, and as long as you are not in the action of being caught cheating, you may cheat. If your opponents catches you, undo the cheat, and you lose 5 life. Nothing can prevent this action.

Teammate - You can attack your teammate's opponents during your teammate's combat steps in that player's game. If your life total would be reduced to 0 or less, target teammate gains control of target permanent you control. Then, if that player wins the game, you gain control of target permanent your teammate controls, and your life total becomes 10.

Crafty Inventor - At the beginning of your upkeep, choose one or more: -You may pay . If you do, Scry X contraptions. -You may pay . If you do, assemble a contraption. -Move your crack counter one sprocket.

Mad Scientist - At the beginning of your upkeep, you may augment target host with a -1/-1 Experiment token with "At the beginning of your upkeep, roll a dice. If you roll a 3 or higher, ".

Party Smasher - You can attack with creatures during your opponent's attack step. At the beginning of your opponent's upkeep, untap up to one target creature.

Asshole - You may add or subtract 1/2 from any number or cost on any card revealed to you in the game.

Time Manipulator - At the beginning of your upkeep, put a time counter on Time Manipulator. Remove 5 time counters: Reverse time one full turn rotation (The game state is exactly the way it was one turn rotation ago; the step a player is on now is the same step a player will be on after using this ability). Remove X time counters on your turn: Stop time for X seconds or until your turn ends (If your opponent would gain priority, they do not instead). Each player in the game plays with the turn phases reversed.

Tribeleader - At the beginning of the game, choose a creature type. Creatures of the chosen type get +1/2/+1/2 for each creature that shares a type. At the beginning of your upkeep, roll a dice. If you roll a 5 or higher, create a 0/0 Shapeshifter creature token with Changling. Creatures of the chosen type cost less to cast.

Unstable Fan - Whenever a black-bordered card you control is not in your hand or library, it gains everything from target silver-bordered card you control (name, type, +P/+T or +loyalty, rules text, art, flavor text, +counters, and it retains everything about itself).

Commander - At the beginning of the game, search your library for a permanent card or two partner cards, put it/them into your command zone, then shuffle your library. The searched card (or partner cards) is your commander for the rest of the game.

General - At the beginning of the game, search your library for a creature card (or two partner cards) and an instant or sorcery card, put them into your command zone, then shuffle your library. The searched creature card (or two partner cards) is your commander for the rest of the game, and the searched instant or sorcery card can be cast with commander tax if your commander is on the battlefield. Commanders you cast cost more to cast.

Mechanic - At the beginning of the game, choose a keyword ability from Unglued, Unhinged, or Unstable. Each silver-bordered creature you control has a keyword ability you chose.

Five-Color Builder - : Add two mana of any color to your mana pool. Only use this ability once each turn.

Gamer - If a card makes you play a game other than the game that Gamer is in, you may copy the card with the winning effect if you win with new targets. If a card outside the game has an effect of the game that Gamer is in, you may copy that effect.

Artist - : You become the artist of target card for the rest of the game. : You are not the artist of target card for the rest of the game.

Card Finder - When you cast a spell, if that spell has multiple variants, you may get a variant from your library or outside the game and put it into your hand. Shuffle your library if you searched your library this way. : Add one mana of any color. Only use this mana to cast a spell with different variants.

Hearthstone Player - Before you draw your opening hand, exile any number of target land cards from your deck. At the beginning of your upkeep if you control 10 or less lands, put target land exiled with Hearthstone Player to the battlefield. This counts as your land drop for turn. All mana abilities add colorless mana instead of their regular colors. All cards you control or own are colorless, and all mana symbols on cards you control or own are colorless. If a spell you control would be played at the time of an instant, exile it instead.

The Perfect Mana - Sacrifice a land: Search your library for a land card and put it onto the battlefield.

Troll - : Change target card's name to anything. Creatures get +1/2/+1/2 for each card with the same name.

Gambler - Pay 10 life, concede the game: In future games this round against your opponent, your maximum hand size is 9 cards, and you start with 9 cards in your hand and 10 life or 7 cards in your hand and 30 life. You cannot mulligan your starting hand. You can gamble with your opponent for any in-game effect as long as your opponent agrees with terms.

Trader - You may trade permanents with your teammates, your teammates' opponents, and your opponent during games.

Team Builder - At the beginning of the game, name two cards. Those cards are partners with each other. Whenever you cast a partner card, you may search your library for its partner. If you do, put it into your hand, then shuffle your library.

Seriously, Turn 1 Sol Ring? - At the beginning of your upkeep, add to your mana pool. This mana does not dissolve as steps and phases end.
