Wow I totally missed for Modern how manifest totally breaks Champion creatures. So many crazy things out of Lorwyn can be flipped up for so cheap now. Looks like some serious fun!

uummmmmm... just relized... when I said Phyrexian Juggernaut, I meant Phyrexian Dreadnought.

I've given consideration to him but that would mean shifting to legacy and everyone at my lgs plays fast decks I fear to fast for this.

Hey kinda followed you from your coral blossom post and just wanted to say you are a truly impressive builder. I'm glad that you were equally inspired by manifest as myself. Keep it up I'll follow you more in the future. +1

Have you considered cards with additional casting cost, like Skaab Ruinator?
Not the best example, but you get the point.

I don't think there is enough working to set up this somewhat finicky combo, so I went digging for some ideas.
Fetch:
Flamekin Harbinger, to find Nova Chaser, and place him atop your library.
Scry Creatures:
Cryptic Annelid, Augury Owl, Sage of Epityr,
Scry Sells:
Taigam's Scheming, Index, Mystic Speculation, Serum Visions.
You seem concerned with speed so i tried to keep the mana-cost low.

the only thing i might be worried about in this deck is playing the Boldwyr Heavyweights and they slap down Emrakul, the Aeons Torn, take an extra turn, anhillate your permanents, and overall make you sad.

i wouldn't hard cast it unless i had side boarded in Torpor Orb when there manifested etb effects are stifled as the enter the field upside-down and concealed from your opponent then once you flip the creature for its mana cost the etb ability has resolved fizzled what have you and you now have all the delicious trample and half the calories.

Jeskai Infiltrator? He's not bad by himself.

I've focused more creatures with trample that are wincons on their own leveler can be chumped for days. The infiltrator would be better utilized if it weren't running enchantment based manifest.

Great deck. I would suggest 4x Lightning Bolt its the most played card in modern for a reason. Not exactly sure what to take out in replace I will leave that up to you.

hmm thank you that is a though as far as removal goes but in play tests Lantern of Insight + Reality Shift affords me a 2 for one as i wait until its a non creature spell sits atop there library poised to wreck my day and boom its a 2/2 nothing... fun response to Delver of Secrets  Flip.. i appreciate your support and suggestion! ill definitely have to give it some consideration.

Torpor Orb should be main deck as you get some serious setbacks from playing your creatures.

Good build. I like Index possibly. Its slow, but it can set up your next 5 draws, and make it so that you're ready to manifest on time.

Have you considered Progenitus, Sheoldred, Elesh Norn, or Iona?

January 20, 2015 6:58 p.m.

Femme_Fatale says... #25

I agree with the above comment. You'd be much better off with things like the eldrazi, linvala, platinum angel, iona, and elesh norn. This is because they actually prevents your opponents strategies while still giving you really effective beaters.
