Creature Suite

4x Delver of Secrets

4x Young Pyromancer

3x Snapcaster Mage

2x Tasigur, the Golden Fang

1x Gurmag Angler

Trying out the 1 of Gurmag Angler over the third Tasigur, the Golden Fang due to legendary concerns. They act very similarly only trading 1 delve cost for 1 power since this deck doesn't take very good advantage of Tasigur's ability. You will usually end up getting back a cantrip or situational counter. There is still one flex slot in whether to keep the 4th Young Pyromancer, the 4th Snapcaster Mage or to up the Gurmag Angler count to 2.

Counter Suite

2x Remand

2x Mana Leak

2x Spell Snare

1x Spell Pierce

I like the 2/2 split of Remand and Mana Leak for the two mana counter spells. Too many two mana counter spells can be a bit clunky when deciding whether to delve a good snapcaster target away or to spend one more mana. Both these counter spells get worse as the game progresses as well. The one of Spell Pierce can be absurdly strong at times since its hard to play around but is often one of the first cards sideboarded out. Although Spell Snare occasionally gets stuck in your hand, a hard counter against the abundance of absurdly strong two drops in this formal lead me to keep two to finish out the counter suite. Other situational counters can be substituted from the sideboard. Deprive seems as though it could be strong at times but I worry about the tempo loss in the early game and the amount of lands the amount of shocks in this deck due to the three color requirements.

Removal Suite

4x Lightning Bolt

2x Murderous Cut

1x Terminate

1x Electrolyze

1x Kolaghan's Command

Trying out the 1 of Kolaghan's Command to see if the versatility and potential two for one is worth the slot of the second Electrolyze. My main worry is it not cantripping but being able to return a threat (especially Snapcaster Mage) while killing a creature or causing the opponent to discard at instant speed seems strong. The 2/1 split on Murderous Cut and Terminate is something I'm still testing. I have been able to cast two Murderous Cuts on turn 3 or 4 which makes me think it is the correct call. Terminate great but can be difficult to cast early in the game. I used to play 2x Electrolyze since the cantripping is great in this deck but having two many three mana spells can get rather clunky.

I've been testing the balance between Removal and Counters in this deck as well. There are many flex spots that have there pros and cons that I'm still testing.
