Just like the creatures that plague the Dark Souls universe this deck will make creatures that, although few, will hit like a tank and withstand even the strongest of attacks. This "boss deck" is a force to be reckoned with and has every right to be feared.

Delve and self-mill to make an overpowered Soulflayer that ideally has indestructible, hexproof, flying, first-strike, trample, vigilance, lifelink, and deathtouch.

Use Buried Alive to quickly toss required creatures into the graveyard for delving or kill them off either through combat or Bone Splinters to get an extra creature and its abilities. Elixir of Immortality used for major life gain, sorcery and instant recovery, and graveyard protection. Counterspell for board-wipe prevention and to make sure a Soulflayer comes out. Valorous Stance can be used for prevention of Sudden Spoiling casting or other temporary ability removals.

The earliest possible turn to put out a Soulflayer is your 4th turn.
