This is the first modern deck I've chosen to build in paper. It seems like Burn is a great list for learning the meta of modern and improving my skills as a player beyond standard and limited.

I chose to build off Seth Manfield's list from PTDC, with only a few changes made. I'd like to see if Magma Jet has a place in burn, as it was briefly popular before the advent of Treasure Cruise. The mana base is a little less fetch-centric for budget reasons, but I think it is still a realistic mana base for this largely mono-colored deck anyway. The biggest change is the removal of Searing Blaze entirely. It's a dead card against creatureless decks and can be clunky in it's reliance on fetches for landfall, especially so with my altered mana base.
