So I'm taking a swing at mono brown in pauper. One of the issues that I'm finding is that there are lots of good options for threats, but not much in the way of card draw. So I included ancestral statue with lots of artifacts that draw cards when they etb.

I could run sanctum gargoyle but I'm trying to keep colors out for now. Do you think I should run colors? What colored spells would be worth while?

One thing that surprised me is how well wretched gryff fits in this deck. I was really worried about not being able to deal with fliers, and it also provides a sac outlet for Assistant as well!
