Naya burn is focused on burning players down fast. Spells in the deck focus on taking advantage of every situation. Creative use of landfall triggers and double strike can keep things interesting. The deck revolves around calculating when to cast a burn spell and when to hold on to the spell for the added bonus of a prowess trigger. Prowess triggers often save Monastery Swiftspear from a lightning bolt or can deal much more damage during combat. Burn spells are typically cast in response to your opponent tapping out, on the opponent's end step, during opponent's fetches, and during combat. The deck requires deep thinking and risk calculations, as well as recognition of patterns in your opponent's play.
