This seems...weird.
But also super-resilient.
...So we're gonna give it a go.
The deck can be built on a super small budget, I just wanted to test it with a real Modern mana base to see how fast/consistent it can really be.
For the most part it can keep up with/disrupt most other decks in the format long enough to get the combo out. Duskmantle Guildmage + Mindcrank is a fairly consistent win on turn 5 if you have to Transmute for the pieces, but can go off as fast as Turn 4 and keep up with Twin.
Game 2 the combo can be a little fragile though, especially if you're going up against boards full of artifact hate or Torpor Orb, so post-board the deck comes out swinging with more auras and the ability to reliably transmute into
Invisible Stalker
to get a quick clock going on most opponents.
Dark Favor
can also put Dimir Infiltrator out of bolt range, making him a decent threat with one or two slapped on him.
Contaminated Ground
and Spreading Seas are there mostly deal with the threat of Tron, but can also be transmuted into to disrupt opponents in whatever color they're not running. The former can even be used to trigger the combo, if you're feeling tricky!
So far it's been really fun to play!
