i'm sorry, but the Harvestguard Alseids gotta go. They are so bad. Maybe Aegis of the Gods mainboard? Also Font of Vigor is really bad. Get more doomwake giants.

Font of Vigor is bad? gain 7 life and trigger constellation? I figured that would be pretty good. Same with e Harvestguard Alseids, I drafted them, maybe something better, but so bad? only 3 CMC, and it will trigger quite a bit, then send creature on an attack that would normally be a suicide mission... seems like i could be useful...

Been reading about that Harvestguard Alseids and, like most Magic card, it's only 'bad' when used incorrectly.

God-Favored General .

Play enchantment, target the General, attack with it safely, pay three mana on your next turn to create enchantment creatures, target the General again, rinse and repeat. Saw this idea on the Gatherer website where they rate the cards and it's a plausible strategy. What's more, if you wanted to go this route, this gives you the ability to play more inspired type creatures, with many having the ability to produce enchantment creatures.

I would replace One Thousand Lashes with Oppressive Rays . It will make triggering constellation easier since it only cost 1 mana, it completely shut downs aggro, and even late game it still has a decent impact.

This Might sound obvious but Athreos, God of Passage and with those enchantments you could get the devotion for him easliy.

Just going to say this, I have pulled a total of 4 Athreos and one was during a minimasters. Worst minimasters rare ever.

Doomwake Giant doesn't seem very good as a bomb. ethereal armor is ridiculous especially in this deck, it should be upped to four. my guess would be:

-2x Doomwake Giant -Dictate of Heliod -Spear of Heliod -Heliod, God of the Sun -2x Nyx-Fleece Ram (side against aggro) -Whip of Erebos

+2 Ethereal Armor +2 Herald of Torment +2Obzedat, Ghost Council or Blood Baron of Vizkopa or Elspeth, Sun's Champion +2 Oppressive Rays (more in side for aggro) +2 Ultimate Price +Extinguish All Hope +Sphere of Safety

or something like this. it can either go more controllish by upping the Brain Maggot s or more midrangey by upping the eidolons. i guess either way it'd work.

Herald of Torment seems like a great addition, especially since I have quite a bit of lifegain, I'd love to add Obzedat or blood baron, or more elepeths, but that is more money then I am willing to spend, Athreos, God of Passage was bad enough pricewise.

Honestly I think that Pacifism would be better than Oppressive Rays , and I think the foil Aegis of the Gods could be mainboarded, but other than that I love the deck!I was thinking about making a similar deck myself, this is good inspiration.

Looks really good. I am building a a junk constellation and one of the things I'm really worried about is Back to Nature . I plan on running on a play set of Fleecemane Lion in sideboard for that just so maybe I won't have a empty board. rootborn defences and Ephemeral Shields are a good ideal too.

Thanks majordeathtrout, Back to Nature was an unfortunate reprint, I did fairly well with this deck at JOU game day, let's see how it does tomorrow, I think anyone with green is going to have BTN in their sideboard, most of the people who play there have seen me play this deck before
