My casual EDH deck built around Kaalia of the Vast. Given that this deck is meant for play in my causal play group, and Kaalia is frequently considered one of the most broken commanders, I constructed this deck around an additional two rules. One: I can only use non-legendary creatures, other than the general, of course. Essentially, I didn't want this deck to be about cheating out Iona, Shield of Emeria or Avacyn, Angel of Hope and making things slow down to a crawl from there. Two: I also challenged myself to ONLY include angels, demons, and dragons, eschewing several of the usual EDH staples.

Generally I opted for the more offensive, aggressive variants of the three creature types, a change from my usually more controlling play style. Some of the powerhouses on this front include Balefire Dragon, Demon of Death's Gate, Flameblast Dragon, Steel Hellkite, and Thundermaw Hellkite. That said, I also threw in some with board-wiping effects, such as Dread Cacodemon, Deathbringer Regent, and Furnace Dragon, provided I cast them from hand. There are also a few other creatures to address specific problems, notably Adarkar Valkyrie, Angel of Despair, Angel of Finality, Harvester of Souls, Rune-Scarred Demon, and Thunderbreak Regent.

The win comes from straightforward beatdown, with some extra combat effects to speed it up. Notable are Hellkite Charger, Waves of Aggression, Savage Beating and World at War. Obviously, Kaalia draws tons of hate, so getting her protected with some sort of enchantment or equipment can be critical. But if she survives long enough to pull out a few creatures, things can be devastating for your foes.
