I'm still trying to decide what to take out to fit in Massacre Wurm and Natural Affinity because that combo is just hilarious in large games. Any suggestions are welcome.

Have you considered maindecking The Mimeoplasm ?

September 27, 2014 2:01 p.m.

The Mimeoplasm used to be this decks commander. Good suggestion, I put him in place of Cemetery Reaper . Thanks!

just wanted to point out, your deck is not Dimir, Simic or Golgari, it's SULTAI.Those tags are not correct.

It's not like I tagged "Mono-White", all of those tags are relevant to a build in these colors.

Someone, quick, call the SHARD police!

actchually... technically it is a wedge not a shard.

also the guilds are relevant because someone looking into those colors could find relevant combos between another color that could influence they're commander choice, just cards/combos in those colors etc.

Hydra Omnivore and Death's Shadow won't be enough to kill an entire table.

July 2, 2015 3:21 p.m.

If exiled with The Mimeoplasm, 8+13=21 commander damage to each opponent = WIN

Only the player getting hit is taking commander damage everybody else is just taking 21 damage that's not commander damage.

July 2, 2015 3:35 p.m.

Oh I guess the other opponents damage won't count as 'commander damage' because it isn't 'combat damage', nice catch!

I run Hydra Omnivore in my mimeoplasm build and I thought that was how it worked as well but then I looked up the rulings on it. That was a disappointing day.

I feel your pain... still a good combo though:) Thanks for catching that before it actually happened to me in a game.

No problem. This deck looks sweet, I might use some of the ideas in this deck to try and improve mine. +1

If you're going this hard on your graveyard, you may want a Krosan Grip as additional graveyard protection against one-shot effects from artifacts.

My version doesn't go crazy on it, so early yard hate can be handled by cards like my Abrupt Decay before I pitch fatties at instant speed to reanimate. I ran decay over grip due to its ability to hit yard-hating creatures like Scavenging Ooze.

I used to run Eldrazi in mine but cut it once I started upping its speed. I took out the haste guys because they only work with my general and it's harder to protect a 5-drop than a cheated in guy that costed two. One thing that you carry that I consider mandatory in reanimator builds in Kederekt Leviathan. That thing does a STUPID ton of work controlling the board.

What about Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord? He gets pretty buff with a large graveyard and can fling your big creatures at everyone if it becomes necessary. Mindshrieker is also a good way to both mill yourself and do some damage.

July 11, 2015 2:26 p.m.

@plushpenguin: Thanks for the suggestions, I went ahead and added both Abrupt Decay and Krosan Grip

@brewtzar: Thanks for the suggestions, Jarad is really good but I feel like I'd need more stuff centered around his amazing ability. Also, I have a Jarad commander deck already... I really like the idea of Mindshrieker. He would be really good if I had Oracle of Mul Daya out or just cast Lim-Dul's Vault. I'll try to find something to switch him out with.

Breakthrough would be good here because it lets you get rid of cards that may junk up your hand. Also, Rancor may help in case they have annoying blockers.

July 28, 2015 1:28 a.m.

@AxisBanana: I used to run Breakthrough but it was not as good as I was hoping it would be in here so I replaced it with Frantic Search and it has worked out great. As for Rancor, I will definitely consider adding it. The only problem is figuring out what to remove especially since most of my creatures already have one or more forms of evasion. Thanks for the comment and don't forget to +1 of you like the build. Any more suggestions on what to add or remove are definitely welcome.

@SirFowler: Awesome Dredd quote! I'll add it to the description. Thanks for the +1!

It says in your description that if the general gets tucked, but they updated the commander rules so it can't be tucked. You just might want to update it a bit.

September 15, 2015 12:41 p.m.

SirFowler, I can't find the update do you have a link to it? I looked here on the official site. http://www.mtgcommander.net/rules.php

September 15, 2015 1:32 p.m.

SirFowler I found it, it was rule 11. Thanks for pointing that out!
