Karametra's Acolyte is a good card to ramp some easy land if you run alot of rads with green in their cost I suggest taking out Deadbridge Chant since even for midrange that's a hefty cost and seeing as your only running one it just doesnt really seem worth it. second I notice your running almost all rare cards, while having some rares are great like Kalonian Hydra and Gyre Sage many of the cards in your creature base have little to no synergy which a deck especially a three color deck really needs to have to be efficiant and consistent, especially since your running only a couple copies of each maybe try some less expenive cards like Experiment One or Rakdos Cackler or when its out try getting a set of Reverent Hunter which is also a great card. i hope this helps

the deck suppose to feature a lot of creatures some for the strenght and some for their abilities, The only creatures with converted mana cost less that 3 are only here to build a shortcut to the bigger ones, Deadbridge Chant can both summon creatures without me having to bother paying for it while also returning useful removals to my hand, Karametra's Acolyte is too expensive for a ramp card especially if its only for one color, Instead of having a set of a 3 mana 1/1s such as Reverent Hunter i rather have my Bow of Nylea place those counters on my Gyre Sage to boost up my ramp, All three Experiment One , Rakdos Cackler ,and Reverent Hunter are all build up for a Jund Aggro deck

but running one copy of almost every card isnt a good idea either it really hurts the synergy and consistency of the deck.

Well soooooooooooooooooooooooooooory im not one of these people who spend too mutch money on card singles and i worked so hard to get each of them. i wish it was that easy to get 3 Kalonian Hydra , 2 Desecration Demon , 2 Master of Cruelties , 3 Lifebane Zombie , 3 Liliana's Reaver and lets not even get to 2 ruric thar, the winning card against controll decks, and thats nothing compare to cards i still dont have such as Underworld Cerberus , Xenagos, The Reveler and the freacken GODS!

well i was just trying to help its not my fault that you spent your money buying super expensive cards that dont work well together instead of cheaper more efficient alternatives your the one that would be using the deck and getting crappy draws not me.

ya i understand that I go through the same thing im not saying that you have to buy all the cards what im saying is until you can get the cards maybe try some cheaper alternatives that you can get some playsets of to make the deck run smoother.

well actually it runs good even for now, somehow it beats the hell out of Esper Control? decks:

Desecration Demon + Master of Cruelties = resistance is useless.

Ember Swallower + ramp = say goodbye to your Nephalia Drownyard

Kalonian Hydra + Bow of Nylea = mini doubling season

Zhur-Taa Druid + Master of Cruelties = win

Ruric Thar, the Unbowed = win

and more to come after ill get my hands on Underworld Cerberus and Xenagos, The Reveler

What some side board in this? And I played this at an FNM and added shocks. Won the event. It stops control and once u put a Desecration Demon and Underworld Cerberus the basically lose. And replace the carrot with Druids so master of cruelties has some value. That's what I did. And won the last game.

Because you're such a creature heavy style of Jund, you may want to run Domri Rade if you have him (or can borrow him). The CA he can give you will help alot and give your extra removal if you need it. Not to mention he's a must answer threat, no one wants to deal with his emblem hitting the field.

should i switch the two Voyaging Satyr with two Manaweft Sliver ?

October 21, 2013 9:47 a.m.

CRPMoonlight says... #22

I personally would stick with the Voyaging Satyr over the Manaweft because Satyr can atleast survive Golgari Charm 's -1/-1 mode. Had alot of experiences when I used to play a ramp deck where my plans have been completely shattered because all my 1/1 mana dorks just got wiped by a single charm. If you can afford them or can trade for them, aim for Sylvan Caryatid .

Put in Overgrown Tomb instead of Golgari Guildgate

needs more 4-of's, failling that needs LOTS more removal. Also, Domri Rade 's price has been dropping like a rock recently.Consider just doing all creatures 'cept for the walkers or playing a lot fewer creatures and more spells. There have been very few times in standard when a deck in standard can fulfill two roles. Delver is the most recent example, and unless you can be at least that good, better to stick with one strategy. It's not a bad idea, but it may not work right now. After Born of the Gods, the aggro/control deck might work better, but midrange-control might be a bit of a stretch for now. Innistrad jund was a good example, and aggro-midrange might be a better build.
