You want Hero's Downfall 4 times in the main deck. Doom blade is not a good mainboard card in the current meta.

+1 for me. You should run 24 Mana. Check out my deck, let me know what you think. Thanks!

I would sideboard the 2 Rakdos's Return for your 2 Ultimate Price , unless its doing really good, then i guess theres no reason too, i just see it as more of a card against control decks (aggro/mono blue/anything playing Pack Rat tend not to have too many cards in hand) and since theres not a lot of those, you should be able to comfortably sideboard them until necessary.

I would also take out Primeval Bounty and a creature for either 2 Underworld Connections , 2 Read the Bones or 2 Erebos, God of the Dead for card drawing. As a mid/controlish type deck, you always want a few cards (namely kill spells and utility such as Golgari Charm ) available.

i rather keep Primeval Bounty just because it has no drawbacks an is usually a game changer

its only a game changer if played early or is actually allowed to stick around, im sure if you drew it against my junk deck or a tier one deck, it would go away or it would be too late.

Maybe replace Elvish Mystic for Satyr Hedonist ? Need some sudden red ramp for random Stormbreath Dragon 's. Sylvan Caryatid is good by itself.

February 19, 2014 9:30 p.m.

M4dGun says... #8

the thing is that the Satyr Hedonist is a 2-drop and the Elvish Mystic is useful for the 1st turn of a game and i rather just put something like Deathrite Shaman as a 2-of just for the sleight of "midrangeability" (by hoping they will print new fetch-lands in the near future)

Makes sense. Do you ever had a need to pay life to bring in Overgrown Tomb /Stomping Ground untapped? Or do you just wait for them to untap?

M4dGun says... #10

usually not because of my cheap 1 and 2 drop spells

This is a really cool deck. I have been considering making my Golgari Midrange [Competitive] deck into Jund or Junk recently but I'm not sure yet. Check out the deck and let me know what you think.

I really like your idea for this deck. Most Jund decks feature a lot less removal or a LOT more removal. I am a very Midrange player so this really appeals to me. +1 from me, sir.

While I am a huge fan of Ruric Thar, the Unbowed I would not suggest running 2x main board and running 10+ non creature spells. Looks like a really fun deck though!

then all i need is to be patient enough for the enemy to kil him and then proceed because that's the point

March 30, 2014 12:09 a.m.

If they can. Not all decks can. If it works for you then why not. Not everyone can afford the time you think you have with him lol :P.

well he is a six-drop so that gives me enough time to set up my walkers, connections and kill-spells

Why no Abrupt Decay ? Great spell to stop some threatening spells.

Happen to know why your "Card costs (outer) Land mana (inner)" pie chart says Slow? Shows up on mine as well.

M4dGun says... #19

it has to be something about a specific mana source given instantly when entering the battlefield and slower ones such as lands that can (or have to) enter tapped

I don't think Ruric Thar, the Unbowed is a very good choice of a card in the main since you run quite a few non-creature spells seems like he would end up hurting you more than your opponent. That was just the first thing that pops out to meother than the deck look good though may need some tweaking like also cutting Golgari Charm from the main and have a few in the side for things like Supreme Verdict and against token generators like Master of Waves and Elspeth, Sun's Champion and as far as the name goes I do see the staple monters like the world eater and Stormbreath Dragon so I think it is safe to call this build jund monsters really like the deck though, +1 to you.

M4dGun says... #21

the point of Ruric Thar, the Unbowed beng manboarded is that there are barely decks that dont run only creature spells n the current meta. golgari charm on the other hand is a lot more than just the cards you've mentioned flashter it can do a lot more than that

April 5, 2014 4:49 a.m.

M4dGun says... #22

did you know Golgari charm is also a good removal spell at instant speed to kill:

Spear of Heliod , Bident of Thassa , Whip of Erebos , Hammer of Purphoros , Boon Satyr , Bow of Nylea , Archetype of Courage , Eidolon of Countless Battles , Herald of Torment , Courser of Kruphix and even a Chromanticore (in case you play with a really wierd person)

April 5, 2014 9:48 a.m.

flashter says... #23

Hey yeah you make a good point their are a lot of cards that are being played in the meta right now that Golgari Charm hits so it may be cool to run some number in the main and definitely in the side.

Name for the deck? To paraphrase the great TV show, Archer...

Xenago-f--k Yourself!

Haha Xenago-f--k Yourself! is a brilliant name. Love it.

Nice deck, +1 from me. If you're having any trouble with your mana Mana Confluence is a decent option, although f--cking expensive right now.
