If you still want removal and don't want to use Chained to the Rocks , you could use Path to Exile , it is same cost and at instant speed. The drawback of allowing them to get the land is not a big deal I have found after playing aggro a lot

Also, how have you been able to protect your Preeminent Captain during combat. It is really weak against burn decks and control

You're right though, there is no protection for your assets. I would add Boros Charm in here, I don't care if it's RTR block or not. Boros Charm is too good not to include, you have to run it until it's gone for good. It will save you from board wipes, you can cheat in a Soldier with Captain and then give it Double Strike, or you can do 4 right to the face when the board is stalled. You can check mine out for some ideas: Captain Crush!!, although I'm running a little more of the RTR block while they're still around (we still have 2 months, people!).

an Eidolon of Countless Battles may help considering how much soldiers you get out

How has Launch the Fleet worked for you? I want to use it in my Soldiers of Tarkir deck but I feel like it's not as helpful as I want it to be.

Since you only have 20 lands, I would recommend putting Elspeth, Sun's Champion in the sideboard and putting in Ajani Steadfast in the mainboard

I really like the overall feel of the deck, but as the deck stands you're swinging with only 1/1's most of the time. My suggestion is up the anthem effects in the form of more Trumpet Blast or Spear of Heliod for consistent push.
