RG Titanshift.
The thing I like most about most this deck other 'pure ramp' strategies is that it's so resilient to most of the formats disruption. Our creatures are either vessels for putting out more lands or win us the game outright so most spot removal doesn't work against us. Our 'combo' cards are instants so we can cast them Eot when our opponents are tapped out vs decks packing counters. The deck is also highly adaptable and customizable to fit changes in the meta. Our bad Matchups are Twin, Amulet Bloom
This deck isn't as popular as it was when it got all the hype from making top 8 at GP Madrid back in November 2014 but still can go toe to toe with the meta's tier 1 decks if piloted right. There's a lot of room for experimentation here so any kind feedback and insight is welcome. The contents of this deck are as follows:
Ramp:
Sakura-Tribe Elder
- our best 'mana dork' , can attack, chump block and sac in response to removal and ramp at instant speed on our opponents turn.
Search for Tomorrow
- best turn one play in this deck. Not dead late game when hard cast.
Explore
- card draw and ramp in one card. Even though it's not guaranteed ramp, it helps you cycle through your deck faster, helping you fin much needed answers. And when it does hit a land it enters untapped which is important to remember.
Farseek
- next best ramp spell.
Wood Elves
- fetches any forest
Khalni Heart Expedition
Control:
Anger of the Gods
/
Sweltering Suns
- generic sweepers vs aggro and creature swarms. dependant on the meta which one is better. Anger's exile is more relevant with Dredge and Bridgevine in the meta while Suns cycling is always useful against creature less matchups
Lightning Bolt
- best removal there is. Most of the time the deck doesn't really need it, but could run it if we really wanted to.
Relic of Progenitus
- good vs BGx, Grishoalbrand, and Grixis decks. Meta call.
Beast Within
- catch all removal, our Swiss Army knife. Hits all permanents. The token is seldom a drawback
Mwonvuli Acid-Moss
Win Conditions:
Primeval Titan
- signature card of the deck, always run 4
Scapeshift
Summoner's Pact
Update, October 2018: Working on updating the decklist to suit the current meta
