stormkirk captainServant of TymaretSaberclaw GolemSpawn of Rix MaadiKragma WarcallerNecropolis FiendBosh are the creatures I would take out the rest seem at least interesting to play with especially Organ Grinder is at least worth some testing.

Take out all the enchantments you have because they are either way too slow or do way too little to be worth a slot.

Liquimetal CoatingProfane MementoStaff of the Flame MagusTablet of the Guilds liquimetal coating is meant for more specific decks like sydri or glissa not these colors. The rest I say take out is because lifegain on its own just stalls the game it doesnt deal with your opponents just dulls it, also you are playing a aggro commander those slots are wasted on subpar cards.

Mind Rot Grim Discovery Morgue Burst Soul FeastVolcanic Hammer Heat Ray Trumpet Blast Shatter Unmake the Graves these cards are either subpar or meant for another format small things dont work well in commander.

Also take out tibalt he is the worst card imaginable.

Now after taking your deck a part lets put it back together with relatively cheap in cost cards but cards that will help you significantly none the less.

ob nixillis of the black oath Murderous Cut Murder Innocent Blood Tragic Slip Sol Ring Rune-Scarred DemonHarvester of Souls Palace Siege Terminate HellriderBloodgift Demon Whip of Erebos VandalblastBlasphemous Act Anger Flametongue Kavu Dreadbore these cards are all ranging from .70 to 4 dollars at most for each. Anyways best of luck on the deck.

Thanks for the help, Most of the cards you named are place holders until I got cards to fill it in, although liquimetal coating has kept me from losing the game by making Omnath, Locus of Mana an artifact and sacrificing Torch Fiend to kill him. He was a 35/35 commander with flying and I couldn't have blocked him.

And this deck has been played multiple times. It's done, aside from some modifications. I've put Mark of the Vampire and Burning Anger on Rakdos, Lord of Riots to deal commander damage while avoiding the consequences of possibly getting blocked by massive creatures and gaining life I need to stay alive and kill opponents. Tablet of the Guilds works for any two colors, and honestly, I don't see the point of having a deck that can only deal damage, but not take it.

commander damage can only be dealt through combat damage no other means. Nothing is wrong with lifegain but it also has to do something else which is why I suggest Whip of Erebos since it passively heals you and has offensive measure built in with the recursion. The problem with auras as a whole is it leaves the creature much more vulnerable to removal because that removal spell deals with more multiple things at once. As the example you gave with your commander if I used a removal spell on Rakdos it wouldnt of been simply 1 card for 1 card it would be a three for one since I destroyed not only your commander but two auras on it.

ahhh damn. My play group has been using commander damage wrong then. Thanks again, and I'm not trying to downgrade the suggestions. I'm just (poorly) discussing it so I understand everything I'm gonna be doing and putting in. Very much appreciated, especially bc Omnath typically gets that big or bigger, and the same kid runs another fun-killing deck with Nahiri, the Lithomancer in charge and Avacyn, Angel of Hope as a large staple of the deck

Demonic Tutor and Rune-Scarred Demon are really the only tutor cards I am aware of, fairly new to magic, and only really play EDH or Tiny Leaders, you know of any others that may help, kirk412?

That's actually incredibly helpful kirk412. And since you have Sire Of Insanity, how much help is he? I've been wanting to toss him in here for awhile now

What do the other's usually run? I started with a the box version of Daretti, Scrap Savant mono-red, then modded that into what it is now, and played once with a buddies black deck and really loved it, so figured I'd mix it

Damn. I'd have built a Rakdos deck full of board wipes if I had to play in that play group.

I'd lose Mind Rot since all it does is discard, and your game seems to be about taking life. Consider using Shrapnel Blast instead! I'd also add Scuttling Doom Engine for a sick 11 damage combo damage. Whaaat.

Good suggestions, I'm definitely taking out mind rot, and I'll consider shrapnel blast, probably definitely scuttling doom engine

Thanks for the tips guys, it's all helping pretty well, also, since I have Whip of Erebos, I'm considering using the Exquisite Blood + Sanguine Bond combo as an alternate wincon to take care of those decks in my play group that are a real bitch to handle. Thoughts?

I recommend stronger removal. Vandalblast, Dreadbore, Hero's Downfall, and Terminate are great for getting the job done. You also want creatures that can do easy damage. Goblin Fireslinger, Lobber Crew, Tormented Soul, and Bloodgift Demon are great at doing this.

Check out my deck Rakdos the Player Killer for more useful cards.

I think there are lots of ways you can improve this deck. Are you on a budget or are these cards that you just already had? Heat Ray can be swapped for Banefire, Eye Gouge for Tragic Slip, Gravedigger for Phyrexian Reclamation. Doom Blade and Go for the Throat are strictly better than Flesh to Dust. Blood Artist is a nice replacement for Servant of Tymaret especially with your sacrifice creature effects, it's also better than Profane Memento.

Goblin Boom Keg can be swapped for the much more powerful Scuttling Doom Engine

Suffer the Past is a better option than Cremate.

Gray Merchant of Asphodel is a great card but a little odd to run in an aggressive deck that isn't afraid to lose board pieces (and thus devotion).

Bile Blight and Anger of the Gods are solid token and weenie removal. Massacre Wurm is also great.

Sire Of Insanity seems like it would hurt you as much as your opponents. If you wanna go in a discard heavy direction I think you would need more ways to recylce your graveyard and more ways to get benefits from discarding. On the contrary I think you need more ways to draw cards to get the most value of of Rakdos's abilities. Underworld Connections, Erebos, God of the Dead, Phyrexian Arena, Promise of Power and Bloodgift Demon are all nice choices.

Dictate of the Twin Gods is risky but it might it might be your thing.

Why run Kragma Warcaller when you have no other minotaurs?

Finally I recommend Profane Command and the EDH staple Sol Ring.
