Mono-red prison is all about speed and being able to lock down the board before your opponent has a chance to interact.

Playing Chalice of the Void on turn one (via Simian Spirit Guide ) can be devastating to some decks, efficiently shutting down all one mana spells. Blood Moon and Ensnaring Bridge further the board lock by making it near impossible to cast spells and attack with creatures.

Goblin Rabblemaster and Chandra, Torch of Defiance are great win-cons, allowing you to deal mass amounts of damage fairly quickly.
