I want to see if I can find replacements for 1-2x of Dismember and 1-2x of Drown in the Loch. I feel like they do not synergize with this deck as well as I thought they would. I could swap Dismember for Bolt to provide some reach to planeswalkers. I'm considering another piece of cheap/flexible removal such as Abrupt Decay for Drown in the Loch.

Coming from Jund, this is a really fun deck and more in line with what I envisioned Jund being. The threats are bigger and provide a much better clock, I also have twice as many threats in the deck and ways to find them consistently. I don't have the ability to grind as hard with this deck, but I feel like that just wasn't cutting it with Jund right now. Other decks are too fast and I always felt that opponents had too many opportunities to come back unless I had a very good hand and draws.

I won't go into alot of match details but my record was: R1: 1-2 to an Azorious, Stax, Stoneblade deck (he called it a "sort of death and taxes deck"). Won the 1st game handily, but just sort of didn't get there in games 2 & 3. I kept a weird hand and had unlucky draws in G2 and missed land drops on T2&3 even with OuaT in my opener; and G3 he had answers to my threats and I just wasn't fast enough.

R2: 2-1 against a new Yawgmoth Combo deck. Had lots of disruption and just executed the gameplan. Almost won 2-0.

R3: 1-2 against burn/prowess. The game one win was a fluke bc the OP missequenced, but the missequence was based on imperfect info on his part, so it's not like he had it guaranteed. I had no idea how to play against burn with this deck. Asked him some questions afterwards and he gave me a general gameplan to use against burn.
