The price is way off, the foils are showing up for like double the actual price. These are all cards I had already with the exception of 2 goyfs and 2 Grim Flayers and 1 Obliterator so I had to trade for those. I like your idea though, I think I'll copy this deck and make a Death's Shadow version to test. Thanks for the +1! I would need to buy 3 more Death's Shadow though...

Here is a Death's Shadow build. Is this what you meant the_monogreen_h3dr0n_c0llector?

Looks good. I would cut Setessan Tactics and 1 Nameless Inversion for 2 more MB Fatal Pushes.
I'd cut 1-2 more Nameless Inversion for 1-2 Bile Blight. Yes you're loosing the tribal keyword but you're extending your reach quite a bit.
You could swap 1 or both Vault Skirge for some Bitterblossom. Especially until you can get your hands on 2 more Dark Confidant. This will give you the tribal keyword again and low cost aggression.
I realize it's personal preference but I prefer Thoughtseize to Inquisition of Kozilek. Thoughtseize gets more value later in the game and it hits things like Ugin, the Spirit Dragon and Scapeshift that IoK is useless against.

Thanks APPLE01DOJ, I appreciate your feedback. I made a few changes:
+1 Bile Blight
+3 Thoughtseize
I also made adjustments to the SB. Bitterblossom is a great idea but I don't own any, I'll try and experiment with some of your other suggestions in playtesting. Thanks for the +1!

@nathaniscool2:For a few reasons:
- Since it's an artifact and a creature it helps me get to delirium faster
- For the same reason it helps my Tarmogoyfs get beefy
- The art is awesome
I usually cast it in the early turns as a chump blocker or I'll discard it to escalate Collective Brutality or to Liliana's +1.

since your running Abrupt Decay in the main, why not run Unravel the Aether in the side for tech on Wurmcoil Engine over Naturalize. I been trying to get a Phyrexian Obliterator deck to work so i have been brewing with it and i think 4 Treetop Village is pretty rough. I think they would be much better as Hissing Quagmire. that just my opinion, sweet deck get a vote from me.

Thanks Ihazadeck! You forgot to hit the upvote button... but yeah I love that idea for the SB! I haven't had too much of an issue with Treetop Village in testing but I'll pay close attention this Friday when I play in FNM. I just got all the cards for this deck so it's going to be my first time playing it. I have a playset of Hissing Quagmire so I'll make the swap if treetop isn't working out. Another thought I had was maybe going to 3 Treetop Village and add in another Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth.

just add 1-2 more Twilight Mire and Treetop Village will work fine.

What specifically gave you trouble in the Kiki Combo & Tron match ups?

Squirrel_of_War says... #13
Tron was my first match ever eith this deck and I think I made a play mistake. I used Inquisition of Kozilek to make them discard Path to Exile when I probably should have made them discard Sylvan Scrying. The only reason I didn't was because they had 2 Sylvan Scryings in their hand. Both games they assembled tron by turn 3 or 4. Game 1 they dropped Ugin, the Spirit Dragon and cleared my board then I killed Ugin and he dropped Ulamog, the Ceaseless Hunger and exiled 2 of my lands and I couldn't recover. Game 2 Ulamog came out on turn 4 and he exiled my only 2 black sources and I couldn't recover. I also was tapped out when I needed to use Shadow of Doubt so that was play mistake #2. Because of this match I'm adding a Maelstrom Pulse to the SB.

For the Kiki Chord deck I thought I had the win both games. Game 1 I had Bile Blighted 2 BoP turn 2 and slowed him down a lot. I had Bob and an Obliterator out and he was at 9, I tapped out for something and he cast Kiki during his turn for the win. Similar circumstance for game 2, had him down to 9 with an awesome board presence, I tapped out he cast Restoration Angel at my end step then Eldritch Evolution on his Eternal Witness to snag Kiki for the win. Thinking of adding Surgical Extraction to the SB against combo decks.

Junk is a hard match up for Golgari. Winning it is very draw dependent because they can easily nullify the board state with Lingering Souls and stall out until they draw what they need to win.
Siding in Bile Blight and additional removal is good, Liliana, the Last Hope is good, one sided grave hate like Leyline of the Void is good, Bow of Nylea is good, Thrun and Swords can also be good.
Fae usually isn't a bad match. Some days nothing happens the way you need though.

I would have won the fairy match but right at the end I was smashing with Thrun and he was hitting with his Faerie Conclave turn after turn and I used my removal on other dudes and I drew 4 lands in a row I just need abrupt decay for the win. I lost 3 games to mana screw so I added another Twilight Mire to bring my land count to 22. Any recommendations on changes?

Also APPLE01DOJ, how do you feel about a main deck Thrun, the Last Troll? I can't think of a match he wouldn't be good in...

APPLE01DOJ says... #19
Sword of Feast and Famine isn't really what your deck wants. It might be good on occasion but basically the only 2 sword relevant in modern are Sword of Light and Shadow for protection and Sword of Fire and Ice for it's powerful utility.
As for additional tweaks, I would personally cut 2x Collective Brutality for a 2nd Overgrown Tomb and 4th MB Abrupt Decay.
Collective Brutality is a good card and shines at times but for the most part it plays a secondary roll to everything else and often needs you to discard other cards to get everything out of it.
Thrun, the Last Troll MB is a total valid choice. I've played with him MB in a few decks and he pays off. However in your deck, I wouldn't run him MB unless you felt like swapping him in place of an Phyrexian Obliterator. It's important to keep your overall mana costs low and 5 4 drops is just too many. Additional, while an uncounterable, untouchable 4/4 is nice, being only a 4/4 in the late game can be a set back.
