Fuzzlewuzzle How has Arguel's Blood Fast Flip performed for you? In recent playtesting of my build it's clear this deck needs repeatable card draw to try and compete with so many of the low-cost, flexible Commanders currently en vogue.
Also, I think I was sleeping on Mutavault as a perfect cantrip for a bunch of the Dragon ETBs - have you ever tested this?

Also, Fuzzlewuzzle and iammute, have you both tested Vanquisher's Banner? Five mana is a lot, I'm just trying to think of ways to net card advantage. Species Specialist feels like it won't have enough impact, Pirate's Pillage feels intriguing to me (albeit sorcery speed), and maybe I just need to bring Dragon Mage back into my build.

X-Factor11105 I honestly can't really say how Blood Fast has been, since I've almost never drawn it. Blerg. In theory it's good; I thought about using Greed, but Blood Fast comes down way earlier, even if it does cost more to activate.
I don't think Mutavault works the way you're thinking (if I'm reading your post right). It can become a dragon to trigger stuff like Utvara Hellkite, but it'll never etb as a dragon for anything else.
Ugh, if Vanquisher's Banner cost like 2 mana less I would consider it, but 5 mana is just too much for that kind of effect IMO. Dragon's Hoard already pretty much fills that slot for me. I've actually also just put Skyline Despot back in, for extra dragon etb's and draw power, but I haven't had a chance to see him in action yet.
But also, YO, IMMERSTRUM PREDATOR

SO STOKED
FWIW, Knollspine Dragon has been much easier to setup for 4+ cards than I thought it'd be. That might be the next one to try for possible ramp options!
You're right about Mutavault unfortunately. Instead I'm gonna try Malakir Rebirth Flip to see if I can more mileage out of that utility land spot. Valakut Awakening Flip and Agadeem's Awakening Flip are next on the list for testing.
FWIW I'm going to test Kolaghan's Command in favor of Bedevil to get some more flexibility in that removal spot. Same for Soul Shatter - it feels like so much value for 3 mana, I have no idea why it's a $0.25 card!
Have you ever tested Dragonspeaker Shaman? I'm wondering about it - that 2-mana cost reduction on a 3 CMC body just screams efficiency.
Also - how valuable has Ugin, the Ineffable been for you? I've been seriously considering it for the spot removal and draw but that six CMC is scaring me a bit.

X-Factor11105 I've actually been seriously considering Kolaghan's Command lately, but I dunno if I'd remove Bedevil for it (Bedevil is just so so good). Dragonspeaker Shaman was in here for a while a long time ago, but I swapped him out for Dragonlord's Servant for the easier mana cost, then swapped the servant out for Nightscape Familiar because familiar applies to more of my cards. Cost reducers are only really worth it if you get their benefit multiple times in a turn, and I cast multiple red cards way more often than I cast multiple dragons.
Ugin, the Ineffable isn't quite as important as he used to be, but he's still good. Prior to Feed the Swarm being printed he was arguably the best targeted enchantment removal Rakdos had to offer (compared to stuff like Spine of Ish Sah and Scour from Existence). I wish he was at least one mana cheaper, but the removal+card advantage package he offers is still really nice

Thanks for the responses Fuzzlewuzzle A few more questions for ya:
-
Do we think Pyre of Heroes is going to be too slow? Or is it worth an include here? In my build I'd consider it over Hazoret's Monument, though there's pros and cons to both.
-
How have you found the draw lands you run to perform? I'm considering War Room and maybe Castle Locthwain, though I think I'm out on Bonders' Enclave. The rates are just not great, but having extra opportunities to draw feels so so needed.

I don't think this is the right shell for Pyre of Heroes (or any Birthing Pod-esque effect, for that matter). We don't have a good enough curve, and there are very few creatures here that I'd be happy about sac-ing, much less at sorcery speed.
How are the draw lands? That is an excellent question. Maybe one day ten years from now when I draw one I'll be able to give you an answer.
But yeah, the rates are not great, but they're about as good as I expect us to see on a land. Of those three, War Room is definitely the best, but that's not exactly a huge achievement.

Sending some ideas and suggestions your way for discussion!
Warmonger Hellkite: Why have we never talked about this? A goad on a Dragon body seems solid for maintaining a bit of board control and possible politicking. It costs less than $1. Is it bad? Am I missing something?
Dragon Breath: So in my build, 50% of my creatures have 6 CMC or greater. I have one less haste enabler than you (you run Greaves), and I'm seriously considering testing this! It gives haste, gives firebreathing, can be a political piece (anytime a 6 CMC or more creature comes down, not just ours), and is an automatic discard. Are we sleeping on this thing's potential?! Haste is so critical to optimizing this deck's performance (Balefire Dragon! Utvara Hellkite! etc.), and knowing we can always get our heavy hitters enchanted, AND IT'S FLAVOR IS ON POINT, I'm intrigued by this!
Curse of Opulence: One red mana to divert attacks elsewhere and help us ramp? Did we just straight-up miss including this?! If you've playtested it and not enjoyed it in the build let me know! I do like that it can come down and have value at any point in the game too - the extra mana can always be utilized! I feel like I REALLY gotta make space for this one...

iammute I don't think I'm going to self-mill enough, or have enough synergy, to warrant Squee, Goblin Nabob - I really like the idea, I just imagine I'm going to be more focused on pitching dragons, Anger, and late-game lands, dorks, and mana rocks.
ALSO: Another Dragon-adjacent spoiler! I don't think this card makes the cut since it's so attack-focused and doesn't speed up BladeinWe're going to get at least one goodie out of Kaldheim for sure! https://www.reddit.com/r/EDH/comments/koduv2/khm_dragonkin_berserker_boast_mechanic_preview/
