This Mayael the Anima deck was designed with my excess cards in an attempt to build a budget deck. A lot of this design was trying to cheat out big creatures with the commander Mayael but in practice though built somewhat on budget I found myself playing the commander much later than I'd like. This wasn't for a ramping issue as with a good starting hand I could play and activate Mayael by turn 3 however this caused me to draw ire. Now being built with less than the most powerful creatures in the game I find being targeted too early with Mayael out is difficult. This card requires a lot of set up, I personally like the deck because it does require a level of knowledge of the game and interaction.
