Due to low price and low average CMC, I'd dtop a couple Plains for some Phalanx Leaders. They'd work great with all the creature-pumping enchantments and they're only about $0.25 a piece.

Other than that, sweet deck! I wouldn't be surprised if WOTC offered you a job building pre-cons at this point.

How could I forget Phalanx Leader? He's one of my favorite creatures! I'll add a couple. Good call.

Ahah, my deck isn't going to lose its second place sooooo fast! xP

That's really a nice, budget and good looking deck you have there! +1 for our Budget-Meister of T/O :D

Stoneforge Mystic mirrors in Legacy are often referred to as "Lightsaber duels".

Spazik008, that card is so good. One copy costs almost as much as 2 of these decks lol.

elpokitolama, you just need to hope my red deck falls off before this one or the Dark and Curvy deck overtakes yours!

+1 but why no Seeker of the Way?? It isnt expensive and would flourish heavily in this environment.

Sagarys says... #9

I considered Seeker of the Way. Especially since the monk theme kind of parallels the Jedi one. But I opted for more permanent pumps. That's why I went with the Heroic dudes at the 2 drop slot.

Spazik008 says... #10

you need to have him altered so his spear is a double sided lightsaber.

Sagarys says... #11

Lol, that'd be awesome. Just do it to all the cards in the deck. I imagine Eidolon of Countless Battles would probably dual wield.

Mine will fall before yours, it's been there for a bit longer time :p

Speaking of lightsabers, you could add Fiendslayer Paladin. He has a neat lightsaber, althought it might take your deck out of the 20$ budget.

Sagarys says... #14

I like him for the flavor Bruxo, but he doesn't fit the strategy very well. Plus he shares the 3 drop slot with the deck's bomb.

Sagarys praise the Force! This deck is more than an awesome gimick!

I like my gimmicks to pack some punch :)

I like this deck, and Imma let you finish, but Fiendslayer Paladin has one of the best jedi card arts of all time.

May 11, 2015 5:40 p.m.

Sagarys says... #18

asasinater13, Agreed! But unfortunately he doesn't have the best Jedi passive ability of all time.

RiskyRyan says... #19

I know he doesn't really fit but Odric, Master Tactician has a lightsaber too. Love the gif btw.

May 11, 2015 6:01 p.m.

Sagarys says... #20

Actually, Odric, Master Tactician could work. I just don't know where I'd put him. Because choosing to make no one block when the Graceblade is pumped up is good game.

May 11, 2015 6:04 p.m.

Sagarys says... #21

He is a little slow though, so maybe not. Good suggestion though! Thanks!

May 11, 2015 6:07 p.m.

RiskyRyan says... #22

If we're looking at it from a flavor stand point then probably the Phalanx Leader as Odric would be the master. Also it might make the deck a little more concise and all in on the Graceblade Artisan.

May 11, 2015 6:09 p.m.

RiskyRyan says... #23

I also just really like Odric because he was my first rare. Funny story, I actually bought that intro pack because I though that Odric's sword looked like a Lightsaber especially because it was foil.

May 11, 2015 6:12 p.m.

Sagarys says... #24

Lol that's awesome. I can see Odric working if you wanted to run him. I think he might be too slow and by turn 5 when he can attack, you might not have 3 other creatures left on the board depending on your opponent. If I were to add him, I'd probably trim 1 Phalanx Leader and 1 Akroan Skyguard, then run 2 copies.

May 11, 2015 6:18 p.m.

You're going to have to explain how the killer combo works on T4. I see no mana acceleration. As for the deck, Emerge Unscathed is probably better than Gods Willing because of two heroic triggers.
