@Sagarys: You should probably tuck this discussion under an update whenever it dies out. Which, hopefully, will be soon.

That was the plan. I didn't want him to pop back in after I did though, so I'm holding out.

Right you are, fluffybunnypants. Anyway, the two decks are pretty similar, but at one point, the two decks go two different directions. The theme is very similar though, with the Jedi sh*t, which is all, like cool, but it doesn't really matter. I do agree with out hater/troll/mad dude/frogkill45 (who, by the way, I think killed a from just today) that whoever starts out on top continues to be on top. If you start out sucky, then you stay sucky, because no one will want to look at a stupid deck with, say, 2 up votes.

Fight! Fight! Fight! Fight!

In this corner we have Phyrexian Obliterator, and in the other corner we have Typhoid Rats, Prey Upon, go!

Maybe im not getting it right, you commented on his deck on 5-5-15 saying

Sagarys says... #22

Such a cool concept.

Your decks title is 05-05-15-jedi His deck was standard, yours is modern. I know you dont make standard decks to often, so you just swapped cards into it to make it fit modern. My whole point is you didn't mention his deck anywhere. I guess it was a cool concept but not cool enough to mention. Without seeing that deck would this one even exist? Im not trying to troll I just wanted to let people know where this deck came from. If I came off as trolling I apologize. I just think you could have helped another member out by advertising his work.

Except that you're wrong. Or rather, it's completely normal for someone to get inspiration from another. That's what we all do. But you also have to realize that this deck is completely different from the one you're showing. You've been proven wrong multiple times and yet you insist, which is why you come off as a troll.

I may be the only one who's noticed this, but if you replace Emerge Unscathed with Center Soul and Spirit Mantle with someone else, you have a standard deck

May 13, 2015 7:14 p.m.

Don't forget Ethereal Armor.

What do you think if brave the Elements instead of emerge unscathed? Amazing deck though, +1 from me!

I can still see that amazing conversation with frogkill45. But good try. That guy is tough.

Perhaps Sage's Reverie? Same as Ethereal Armor, but also draws cards.

FinchFalcon

I definitely agree that it's worth considering, but can't help but mention that it doesn't provide first strike.

May 14, 2015 7:31 a.m.

Sagarys says... #15

Yeah FinchFalcon, it's a cool card, but without Hero of Iroas it's a little to mana heavy and the lack of first strike is killer. This deck is trying to maximize it's potential with as little effort as possible. That means low mana costs and evasion are required. Thanks though!

gabmousa, Emerge Unscathed is here for heroic triggers as well.

How about Vigilance?

May 16, 2015 12:57 p.m.

@amerika00: The point of hiding it is to move on. Bringing it back up is what you might generally call a dick move.

That is a beautiful name, although if you didn't like what I did, you could have just told me in a nice way. Sorry, anyway, I just though it was funny, but if you don't like it, I will stop it, Epochalyptik.

Epochalyptik doesn't deal in niceties. He's cold and calculating. Like a robot. Or a TI-83 you left in the fridge for some reason.

Sounds about right. But he's a good guy, he is just doing his job.

but what about splash Hero of Iroas ? I think is work fine in aura deck

May 17, 2015 6:03 a.m.

I am really digging your budget decks. This one is super cool, too

Sagarys says... #24

Thanks Tfthoresen. I'm currently working on a new one: Ultra-budget: Heroes of the Hollow. Trying to bring dual color into my Ultra-budget world. Doing these under the radar from now on. No more featuring them.

Fiendslayer Paladin He kinda has the jedi flavor going on and has first strike, lifelink built in as well as hexproof from black and red. little more costly though and I'm not sure what he would be a good replacement for as there's already great synergy here.
