what is ur view on Ball Lightning and or Spark Trooper for the deck. they would combo well with Incandescent Soulstoke and u could up the count on that card as well. Spark trooper is under $1 and ball lightning is around $2

Well, for one, you'd have to go Boros colors for Spark Trooper. So budget-wise, that's pretty much out. Ball Lightning is good and synergizes well with World at War, it's just a little too expensive for my ultra-budget format. If you don't have a budget, then these become options.

Yeah, but that's too situational. You either have to hope you draw them both, or you spend 2 digs to go get them. Not ideal. I like fluidity in my decks. The Soulstoke is really just here for the lord buff anyway. I rarely, if ever, use the tap ability. There's so much better stuff to spend mana on.

I had a deck very similar to this when Lorwyn was standard. The card Heat Shimmer was perfect for giving me two Nova Chasers. And to make this deck even faster you should add in a few Smokebraiders as well. I also would maybe side some Supreme Exemplars for decks with no flying protection. Primal Beyond is also a necessity as well if you ever want to splash other colors. I loved playing with this deck!

Have you ever thought of adding Storm Entity in here? Or does the deck not cast enough spells in one turn to really be effective enough?

Breath of Fury Possibly more than two total combat phases, activates a turn sooner than World at War.

Also, I really like Ashling's Prerogative as a card and I tend to suggest it often. In this case, set it to even and your Nova Chaser comes in with haste. It would only work with a good hand to fit it, though.

Messenger's Speed is another haste enchant. It doesn't give +1/+1, but it does give trample. Jus a thought.

Nice deck! It's quite similar to my Elementals deck.
Assault Strobe is disgusting and I would highly suggest them. I'd maybe replace some Claws of Valakut or, preferably, Siege of Towers for them.

Lets talk lands: how about Flamekin Village or Looming Spires?

Village isn't modern legal, and I'm not sure if this deck wants to play tapped lands. That said, I certainly agree that some nonbasics could help. A couple that came into play untapped like Rogue's Passage or Blighted Gorge perhaps. Village should definitely be in the maybe board alongside Tempt with Vengeance for people who want to take the deck outside of modern.

The cards printed in Commander products aren't legal in modern unless they already were, just legacy and vintage. Same with Conspiracy and most of the other supplemental products.

I agree with the suggestion though, in a setting where it was legal would be a fantastic card for this deck.

I really love this deck, its super fun to play with and i was wondering what i should give up for elemental mastery? i cant really decide what would be worht getting rif of, or if i should just add a couple masterys and not remove anything.
