I came up with a faster Maze's End deck that can win by turn 6 (I know, still not fast enough).

There are tons of gates which is good for cards like Summer Bloom and Oracle of Mul Daya. Whenever possible, play lands off the top of our deck first, then the ones from your hand using Summer Bloom , Walking Atlas . Play cards like Gatecreeper Vine, Izzet Charm, Urban Evolution , or Sphinx's Revelation if there isn't a land on top of the deck

Occasionally, there won't be enough lands in hand, which is when Sphinx's Revelation and Urban Evolution come into play, with Urban Evolution hopefully dropping a land.

A big down side to Gates is that they slow down the mana ramp :( Amulet of Vigor is the best way to reduce. IF those aren't available then Copper Myr and Lotus Cobra will do (however they won't work their magic to turn three.

Only "protection" this deck currently has is Izzet Charm and Sphinx's Revelation to heal up, cause let's face it, it'll be down to the wire.
