Game Day — March 2, 2014

My deck came in second on BNG Game Day. My first matchup was against a Bogbrew Witch/ Festering Newt/ Bubbling Cauldron deck. He barely edged out game one, and I took game two by storm. We were cut short on game three. I never though I'd use Hero's Downfall on a Festering Newt. Result: Draw. Game two was also against a WB deck. I killed him within the first ten minutes, thanks to three Blood Baron of Vizkopa in my starting hand. Match two was easy. He fed my Desecration Demon to a 19/19, and I killed the rest of his creatures with spells and committed an alpha strike. Result: Victory Game three was against a Biovisionary Deck. Nuff said, it was really easy to beat. Result: Victory. Game four was also against another WB deck. Soldier of the Pantheon did a lot for me, as this guy mostly played Cartel Aristorcrat and Vizkopa Guildmage. He did gain a considerable amount of life, though. Result: Victory. End Status: 3 Victories, No losses, One draw. Second Place.
