Cards I'm thinking about putting on my chopping block.
That is 1 removal 1 non-combat based damage 2 token generators and 1 life gain.
Cards I'm interested in.

You know as I avoid the combos and the really powerful cards and tutors for the deck. Every improvement I make to the deck (6 yrs of building this deck now) just adds to the strong synergy and resilience of the deck. Making the deck surprisingly very strong. But not competition strong. Its strong enough to hang with most other stronger decks when it's a 4 player or more game. Selvela gets weaker in the smaller games. And stronger in the bigger games. So if I were to ever make this a cedh selvela token deck, the go wide stragity might not be strong enough anyway with selvela at the helm. Ps your deck looks strong.

casual_competitive, that's a good card. It's not right for this deck. Let me explain.
This token deck is based on the idea that each spell can drop 4 or more creatures into play at once no waiting required. Luminarch Ascension isn't that. In a 4 player game, it takes 1.3 table rotations to turn online. I cant make tokens with it until the player right after me has been given the very least 2 chances to destroy it.
With that being said it's just way to slow.

casual_competitive that combo is a strong one and I'm aware of it and have been for several yrs now. I don't have a problem with going infinite I just find that if that's a go to win condition it might become boring very fast. And if it's not fun it's not going in. Now lets look at the cards and really consider them because they do make a game ending combo. First squarle nest, the card on it's own is slower than every cards in the deck. So by its self it very bad. Earthcraft is really good even without squarle nest, it can make lots of mana like convoke can. The problem with the combo is I have to take 2 cards out for it and currently the 3 cards that are on the chopping block are Captain of the Watch, Wolfcaller's Howl, and Throne of the God-Pharaoh. I'm not sure I'd like to put those cards in over some of the cards in the maybe board.
