The origin of this deck is from a draft I did online a few days ago. I was fortunate enough to pull an Ob Nixilis, Unshackled but the real star ended up being the Jorubai Murk Lurker . It's ability to give anything lifelink for a relatively inexpensive price was invaluable. I enjoyed the card so much I wanted to build on the concept. Adding Sanguine Bond should give the card even more pop.

The combo of Chasm Skulker and Indulgent Tormentor is to help encourage the opponent to take life or sacrifice.

Liliana Vess is included here to help further any hand advantage from Thoughtseize and to tutor.

I welcome any comments to help make this better. I'm not exactly a black guru so I may be missing something. I would prefer to not take the Murk Lurkers out as they are the genesis of the deck. I have a reasonable stock of cards so am not worried about budget, though only one Ob Nixilis is included because for some reason out of the boxes I've only pulled one.

Starting to think about the rotation come September. The thing I like in this deck is that, ignoring land, I only have about 10 cards I would need to remove. The Sanguine Bonds will hurt and am not sure what to supplement that with. However, the loss of Desecration Demon and Nightveil Specter I might have an answer for. I am thinking of replacing those cards with Fate Unraveler and Master of the Feast. Thoughts are obviously welcomed.
