Darksteel Citadel + Ensoul Artifact = a nasty turn 2 combo. Lot's of speed here along with a nice low curve. Looking for suggestions on sideboard and other observations.

So removal is clearly a must. In the meta these days, mono-green and mono-black are pretty brutal (advantage green). Adding 4x Devouring Light and 2x Banishing Light is going to help this quite a bit. Also, as noted by Johnny, more artifacts = better. I figured that, since the low mana count is potentially dangerous, better to go with 4x Springleaf Drum's since they, too, can become a 5/5 critter. Granted, not likely to happen frequently, but...in playtesting this variation... Turn 1, Ornithopter, Darksteel Citadel, cast Springleaf Drum Turn 2, Island, tap Ornithopter+Springleaf Drum+Island, cast Ensoul Artifact on the citadel, swing for 5 indestructible. Rinse and repeat as necessary.

Turn 3, play a Plains, cast Ajani, Caller of the Pride, swing 10 in the air indestructible.

The addition of Godsend and Spear of Heliod provide more targets for ensoul as well as make the Ornithopters a bit more useful. More to come...
