This is the deck that I am planning on bringing to game day, and I like it a lot. Unlike most combos, one of the combo pieces makes the deck playable. Demonic Pact. All the modes are extremely relevant, and can take over the game on its own. Once all the options are done being used, you can now just pass the buck to the opponent. Isn't it fun to make other people pay for the bad things you have done? xD
The play style of the deck is, obviously, control. This deck is made to beat creature based decks such as Bant Company by absolutely just killing anything in your way. The deck is weak to cards such as Dromoka's Command, Anguished Unmaking, any counter spell, and any hand disruption spell, but you have some good sideboard options if you do run into a lot of that type of disruption.
In the sideboard, you have Duress and Transgress the Mind to deal with those nasty disruption spells. Infinite Obliteration has some sweet interaction with Dark Petition, and is in there because ramp is a HORRIBLE matchup. Finally, Ruinous Path and To the Slaughter are in there to deal with those pesky planeswalkers that, otherwise, aren't necessarily easy to deal with this deck.
Also, you may think that this deck automatically scoops to Orbs of Warding, you are kind of right, but you can still technically win by slapping them in a face with a Ruinous Path awaken land 7 times. So... don't scoop. The same thing goes for Pick the Brain and Invasive Surgery. Let's just hope that nobody plays those cards.
I am open to any suggestions. :)
