Suffer Not The Lands To Live

Avacyn, Angel of Hope

My take on land destruction. The great book said suffer not the lands to live, and so Avacyn went out into the world, gathering up her godlike Eldrazi disciples. She smiled upon the world as she laid waste to all that opposed her, and delivered us from thine evil lands. So it is written by the prophets of MtG.

Avacyn, Angel of Hope + Worldslayer is our primary win con. Steelshaper's Gift, Open the Armory, Stoneforge Mystic, Stonehewer Giant, Enlightened Tutor, Inventors' Fair are all ways to tutor for Worldslayer. There's plenty of ramp mechanisms as well.

If somehow none of these Tutor cards are drawn, the fallback plan is playing Armageddon or Ravages of War or Fall of the Thran or Catastrophe with Avacyn to board wipe only enemy lands. Or Planar Bridge plus a huge Eldrazi. In my simming I can usually get some sort of Avacyn + Land Destruction combo by turn 9 +/- 1, and often a huge Eldrazi to boot.

Pretty much everything else is designed to delay the opponent till we can get Avacyn + land wipe tech out or ramp up to it / Eldrazi.

A lot of inspiration for this deck came from SomaCruz / Gates of Armageddon

This decks main weaknesses would be heavy aggro and targeted commander removal / nullification like Darksteel Mutation

I'd like to find a way to make Barren Glory work here for funsies, just have no idea really. As always, lmk if you have any suggestions. Thanks for taking a looksie.
