The moves take me from less token generation over time using Brimaz and Spirit Bonds, but gives me a much quicker punch with Spectral Procession. Wingmate is great but just too slow for what I want to do so Ascendant is definitely a better move, just expensive budget wise... Not that Brimaz is cheap either. The Staffs gain me life on everything I play but Martyr can get me more life at once time and can be used as an attacker should I get enough +1/+1 counters on her.
Still not sure about Abzan Battle Priest. He's killer with Cathars' Crusade or Ajani's Pridemate in play, but he also feels a bit slow.
Need some protection from board wipes at this point too. Don't know what I'd take out or put in, but I don't have anything to prevent or limit such a disaster.
