17 lands is really low in my opinion. I would add at least one, if not two more lands.

Aside from that...Stoke the Flames is possibly the best burn spell in standard...why do you have them sitting in your sideboard?

Chh hahaha yeah thats a good one 17 lands being to low. His mana base is perfect i have 16 lands in mine and always get enough rabblemaster always comes out in mine. Everyone stop bagering him about his lands hes fine. Or did you not notice that practicaly everything in the deck are 1 and 2 drops?

Dragonmasteroftheworlds - Theres no reason to be condescending. If 16-17 lands works for you, then great. I am simply thinking of my experience playing UR delver in modern (another aggressive deck in which the majority of cards are 1 and 2 drops, just in case you weren't aware) in which 18-20 lands is the norm.

Modern is so much faster than standard :p

My modern grixis deck gets demolished because it's way too slow.

what do you suggest take out/swap for Stoke the Flames ?

I would SB or remove the 2x Searing Blood for 2x Stoke the Flames . With your mana base I would not include the full playset... just my 2 cents...

I made a deck very similar to this and I love it! I have more mana because I'm afraid to go any lower than 20 but it still works miracles! The only thing I did differently is I put in Magma Jet over Lightning Strike to get some more scrying done due to the fact that I have more land. Also, I don't have any Goblin Rabblemaster s so I put in Frenzied Goblin to keep the whole unblockable thing going. Great deck overall. +1

Again, thanks for stopping by my deck. I wanted to point out that you have 5 copies of Coordinated Assault in your deck (between main and side).

The thing I admire most about this deck is how well it plays around cards like Chalice of the Void and Engineered Explosives , cards which aren't even present in standard. It's as though it's built to function not only in standard, but relatively well in modern too. It does seem exceedingly weak to Anger of the Gods but I can't say I've ever seen a red deck wins deck that isn't weak to board wipe. Still, very terrifying standard deck.

true, true, anger is a problem but a well-played Goblin Rabblemaster can get you back on swinging. Good to know this can possibly play well against some modern decks!

October 16, 2014 6:20 a.m.

Yeah i hate playing against people who have angers

on the bright side, you can probably kill them before they get to it, or at least get darn close to doing it

Exactly

Nice one. I admire the red mage who can sidestep the hype of the 3 colour decks. How has it been going at FNM?

I like this build. Doomwake Giant eats this archetype for breakfast though. Killed my similar rdw deck at game day.

October 19, 2014 3:48 p.m.

U did well im impressed if u look hard tho u can slim your t5 win every time to t 4 or 3 thats what mine does but seems yours works well.

i like the deck, i trimmed down the mainly 1 drops. i didnt even want to run lightning strikes, but was forced to cause i couldnt find more frenzied goblins. i considered Goblin Rabblemaster for the side board but it is a 3 drop and i dont plan on always hitting land drops.

btw, i do win on t4 a lot too. not to brag

October 22, 2014 7:15 a.m.

I don't believe you'd be able to do a combo like that in standard. Sounds more like a modern thing, otherwise that combo would be well known.

October 24, 2014 12:30 a.m.

Mabey u need to consider my version of this deck and thinck about what acomplishes the t3 win. And dont say its immpossible until proven
