Took First at FNM!!! —Oct. 25, 2014
Tried out the deck today and it wen't awesome! 4-0
Round 1 I went against a Temur fight deck. The guy ran out of creature steam when faced with all of my removal and the games ended in a pretty boring way.
Round 2 I went against RDW. Game one was somewhat close as he got a lot of dmg in before I stabilized. My burn and hard removal alongside a few well timed Raise the Alarm kept me in the game. Game two went long and I won through card quality.
Round 3 Was against a quasi-mirror. He was more token based while I was more creature and quality based. Game one I had the momentum from the play and he couldn't keep up. Wore him down over time. Game two my sideboard recked his board state. Anger of the Gods essentially undid his work while my Elspath kept the men coming.
Round 4 was super close, against Abzan Mid-range. Game one I couldn't handle his Siege Rhino army. 4 hit the field and I couldn't remove them all or deal with the life swings. Game two he didn't draw enough creatures and I wore him down slowly but surely. Game three was incredibly close but some removal and 3 Goblin Rabblemaster squeaked out a win from 2 life.
Having been to it's first FNM, I have made some changes.
Mainboard:
-2 Goblinslide
+3 Plains
Sideboard:
-2 Mass Calcify
@ZombieSpy98 I originally had it in there at 2, in the very first iteration where I ran a lot less creatures. But I felt it's value lower as I added more cards that wouldn't allow me to proc it.
I can totally see me running it, but I don't think I want to take out Stoke the Flames , it's way too good as removal and burn (Die Courser dieeeeeee). If anything I might take out Lightning Strike or maybe even take 2 Nyx Fleece out of my sideboard, move two Lightning Strike there instead and mainboard Goblinslide . Then, in aggro matchups I can take it out because it is a rather slow card.

I see what you mean. The Goblinslide seemed like a good idea at first, but you'd have to take out too much else to fit it. Please take a look at my deck and tell me what you think. http://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/11-10-14-Dbm-zurgo-smash/

Goblinslide should definitely go straight into your mainboard. Maybe take out Stoke the Flames ?
