Mainboard: - 1 Temur charm - 2 lightning strike + 2 sagu mauler + 1 crater's claws Sideboard: - 1 See the Unwritten - 1 Setessan Tactics - 2 stoke the flames + 1 anger of the gods + 2 clever impersonator + 1 Temur charm

I technically went to three standard events playing this deck to see how it goes. Meta tonight was full of tokens so anger of the gods kept being auto-included prompting me to make it a 4-of in the side taking out either sagu mauler or clever impersonator as mauler could end up being too slow and impersonator unfortunately has no fun stuff to copy. Setessan tactics, and see the unwritten never got sided in for any value and stoke the flames is very bad in a deck like this. Before this I went 0-4 in a standard event at Eudemonia and 1-3 at another event at black diamond. One temur charm has been moved to side as in a lot of matchups where games can go long temur charm ends up being a dead card as I mainly have it in my hand waiting to counter something, although it will often be cast for its fight ability as well.

So why the heck do I even want to have 4 clever impersonators? one word: VALUE. see, in matchups against midrange decks like abzan, mardu and the mirror there's going to be a lot of high-value stuff being ploped down on the field. Clever impersonator copies ALL OF IT. The times I've cast it and won greatly outweigh times I've cast a turn 3 Knuckles. I've cast it as sorin, elspeth, siege rhino, ajani, and sarkhan. The card is crazy versatile and I'm frankly sad that not enough people play with it.
