Self Mill

Baz-Turadan

So the biggest problem I see with mill is that it relies on your opponent not having things like Blightsteel Colossus and or running one-hundred cards. I wanted to build a mill deck that didn't have to worry about running out of mill power, having all my work undone by Kozilek, Butcher of Truth, or being killed by my opponents creatures. my solution? mill myself, I will only run the minimum sixty cards so running out of mill power shouldn't be a problem, I don't have anything like Emrakul, the Aeons Torn or Darksteel Colossus so my work is much harder to undo. the only problems? what if I mill away my useful things, and how do I win by milling myself. the answers took me awhile, but I found them. first off, I can avoid losing my good things by getting them back from the graveyard, so Eternal Witness, and Seance can put things back in my hand, and or exile them to give an entry effect (this is why my mill is all creature based). second the win condition, this was actually pretty easy because my friend told me about this stupidly weird creature called Laboratory Maniac, this solved all of my problems. Just Seance in the Laboratory Maniac in the upkeep of the turn you would have nothing to draw.... its basically press "A" to win. and it only works because Seance says "at the beginning of your upkeep", and the draw step is in the middle of your upkeep.
