as much as I think the seige rhino is good, gonna throw this out there: swap the black for blue, run Mystic Snake Momentary Blink and Loxodon Hierarch with your same base, you're losing seige rhino and thoughtsieze but gaining AOT of control out of th snake and your blinks

I quite like the idea of a Bant blink control. I'mma test it out.

I ran it in standard years ago, was really impressive, that 2/2 body counter spell is a monster

Way too expensive to be of use in modern Aboithagameboi. Only exception is esper gifts.

Angel of Serenity is a great card but it is a bit too costly for this deck. I would work in a flicker shell Commander deck though.

Urg, not really. It is a tough call, but as since Tron, Affinity and BGx are all heavily played, I don't think it is a good choice to have them in there.
However, looking at your list, Blade Splicer could definitely be removed for them.

I have made a number of pretty significant changes to this deck over the past month. Play testing has reveled some weaknesses which I have now fixed. The deck is running really smoothly and is doing a lot of winning. I really appreciate all the feedback, it has helped this deck evolve into a pretty high caliber deck.

I think you are drifting a bit too far from the blink plan ...
Did you know of the Eternal Witness + Ghostway combo?

You should def try out 2 Tidehollow Sculler in the SB. I play them in my Mentors of the Lost Arts esper deck sometimes, and it's an amazing card, especially if you're running blink (Flicker).
Either way, +1, nice deck bro.

A note on femme fatale's comment about bolting mana dorks.
Birds of Paradise is the second most bolted card in the history of Magic: The Gathering.
The first is Llanowar Elves

soooo... after lots of match-ups, the deck has fully come into its own. I have made a few changes that seem to be working out well. Currently, this is my absolute favorite deck to play! It is fairing well against most Modern competitive builds that I have encountered. That said, I am always open to suggestions. Thanks T/O community!

Its junk with a splash of bounce to prevent removal and get some more value.
Silence, Melira, Sylvok Outcast and Loxodon Smiter aren't needed in the sideboard. A more effective sideboard is needed.
- Choke to hate on twin, delver and merfolk.
- Stony Silence to hate on Tron and Affinity.
- Fulminator Mage to hate on Tron.
- Engineered Explosives to hate on any aggro deck (mainly merfolk).
- Slaughter Pact to help deal with infect, twin and Bloom Titan.
Keeping the Lingering Souls, Maelstrom Pulse and Timely Reinforcements is a good idea. Probably remove Creeping Corrosion to up the amount of Stony Silences. If possible however, use Suppression Field to also hate on Twin.

Thanks Femme_Fatale. Some great SB suggestions there - especially choke, as it was not really on my radar.

I'd drop 4x Cloudshift for 4x Flickerwisp. Higher CMC but the flying body is very relevant.

Flickerwisp doesn't have flash Saljen, therefore, you can't use it to counter a removal spell or save a creature from death during declare blockers. If it had flash, it'd be like, 5-15 dollars right now.

My only suggestion would be to call it "Linger Finking Good" :)

You have 61 cards. There is no advantage to having 61 cards.

+1 for the name. Though you might also consider "Linger Blinking Good" or "Linger Flickering Good." Femme is right about the 61 cards, though. Would cut an Angel, ScOoze, or a Rhino.

Wizard_of_the_Broke: I'm fairly certain it used to be 'Linger Flickering Good'.

The problem is, once the opponent realizes that they can't bolt your batties, they'll bolt your BoW and destroy your tempo plan. In fact, bolting a mana dork is something that occurs really often, and disrupts your game plan quite drastically, as now you are left with one less position in your hand that was meant to develop tempo, but now you lost tempo. Unless you can protect the dork, I honestly don't suggest using them. GWb monsters plays Noble Hierarch, but that's because it's also a buffer, so it has late game relevance as well, and because GW monsters is an aggro version of BGx midrange, and it needs that mana acceleration because of its creature and board state dependence. Regular BGx decks don't have this dependence, and focus more on disruption and removal. Which one are you?
I also suggest putting in the budget tag.
